The next few days went by fast, and it was now saterday. Another trip to Hogsmeade was upon you and you had told Dameon about it. He had suggested that the two of you go out on a date there and you agreed. You where sitting in the tea shop, where all couples went.

"Supposedly this is a good place to bring a date." Dameon said sipping his tea.

"Yeah, most couples come here." You replied, bored. "How did you know about it though?" He wasn't from Hogwarts so that ment he wasn't use to how things happened around Hogsmeade.

"I over heard a few of the students talking about it." He said. "Although, I have to admit, this is boring." You smiled and agreed with him. It was boring. The other couples in the shop where being all lovey dovy, it was annoying. You finished drinking your teas and left. The ground was covered in snow. Students hurried from shop to shop. It wasn't like the wind was blowing, but it was freezing out.

"Hey, Dameon. Let's go for a walk. I don't really want to go into the crowded stores." You said taking his hand. He smiled and the two of you walked away from the shops.

Draco's pov

Draco was with his two friends when he spotted you with Dameon. He was walking to another shop and stoped to watch the both of you closely.

"What are you looking at?" Goyle asked him.

"Nothing." Draco said annoyed and looked away.

"So you're an only child then?" You said to Dameon. Draco looked back at you.

'What is she doing with him?' Draco thought. He watched you for a few more minutes before you and Dameon walked out of sight.

"Wasn't that Dameon?" Crabbe asked. Draco turned to face him.

"I think so." He said concerned. "What is he doing with (y/n)?" He looked at the two boys. "She's not going to tell me what's going on. I need the two of you to find out for me." Draco said then waved them along. They headed out to talk to you.

Your pov

"What's a niffler doing here?" Dameon said pointing at your feet. (N/n) had been hanging out with Draco these days, so when he showed up at your feet, it surprised you.

"Oh, hi (n/n)." You said tapping your shoulder. The niffler climbed up your arm and sat on your shoulder.

"It's sitting on you?" Dameon was shocked.

"Yeah, this is (n/n). He's my pet niffler. Lately he's been hanging out with a friend of mine." You said as the two of you started walking again.

"Hey (y/n)," you heard Grabbe say. Him and Goyle were walking towards you.

"Hi boys." You said casually. "What's up?"

"We just wanted to say hi." Goyle said. The two boys looked at Dameon.

"Oh, this is..." you looked at Dameon. He was giving the two boys in front of you a scowling look. "Dameon." You said anyways. They obviously knew each other already and they didn't like each other.

"Soooo." You said awkwardly. "You all know each other, huh?"

"Yeah, I know them." Dameon said coldly. "And I don't fancy a talk with them."

"Well, there friends of mine. You don't have to talk to them if you don't like. I'll catch up with you in a few moments, if you don't want to stick around." You said calmly trying to defuse the situation. He gave them another dirty look then walk away.

"So what's really up? Where's Draco?" You looked around for him.

"He saw you with Dameon and sent us to find out what's going on." Goyle said.

"I don't think we were supposed to tell her that." Crabbe said to Goyle. You rolled your eyes. Draco was jealous? Good, then perhaps he would understand what he lost.

"It's ok." You said. "Dameon asked me to the ball so we are on our first date." You said still calm. "You can tell Draco that and tell him to not worrie. Dameon is sweet." You smiled. "Now I should go back to my date." You walked past them and caught up with Dameon.

"What did they want?" Dameon asked annoyed.

"Just to say hi. They asked about you though." You hooked your arm around his and pulled him along. "They wanted to know if you and I were dating."

"What did you tell them?" He sounded curious. You layed your head on his shoulder.

"Yes." You told him. The rest of the day went by smoothly. Dameon had let the encounter with Crabbe and Gyole go. Why they didn't like each other, or how they even know one another, we beyond you, but you didn't care. The evening was now here and the sun was setting. You were back at the school and in your dorm room. You had told Sam all about your date with Dameon.

"It was so nice. Oh, and did I tell you that Draco sent his friends over to see if what he saw was true?" You told her how Crabbe and Goyle interrupted your walk with your new boyfriend.

Draco's pov

Grabbe and Goyle had told Draco what you told them. He was laying on the couch in the Slytherin common room staring at the ceiling. He had lost you. 'She's already moved on.' Draco thought depressively. 'I waited to long. I shouldn't have ignored her.' He sat up. Pansy Perkinson was sitting at the other side of the room with her friends. All three of them liked him, and he knew it. They didn't hide it to well. You had told him to go back to Perkinson, but it wasn't her he wanted to be with. It was you that he cared about. 'I'm such an idiot!' He thought, and fell back down.

"Draky?" He heard after a few minutes of wallowing.

"What Pansy." He asked sounding depressed, not looking at her.

"The ball is comming up soon." She said. Draco sat back up.

"So" He said annoyed.

"Well, I heard your single again." She said, as Draco plopped back down. "So I was thinking that you and I could go out again. We could go to the ball together."

"Sure whatever." Draco said in a monotone, as he rolled over to his back again.
