About a mouth into the year, you were told about flying lessons. You didn't like that idea. Flying on a broom wasn't going to be like flying on a plane. Your class would be with the Ravenclaws on Fridays.

That Thursday evening at dinner, Malfoy was over at the Gryffindor table. He seemed to be giving Potter and his freinds a hard time because you heard him say, "Having a last meal, Potter?" Malfoy was being a bully agian; this time to someone other then you. Although, he wasn't really a bully to you, just rude.

Kathy was talking about something called Quidditch. "We have some new team mates this year. Perhaps we can beat Slytherin." She went on and on about how Slytherin won so many matches last year. "At least someone should beat them. They need to be brought down a nautch or two." Kathy said taking a bite of her dinner.

"Quidditch team?" You looked at her confused. She explained what it was and that the try outs for new members were going on. "However, first years can't join the team." She continued.

You looked over at the Gryffindor table. Harry Potter sure was popular without even trying. People were walking up and talking to him all dinner. A boy with red hair, who was sitting at the Gryffindor table, was telling the others what happend during their flying lesson. You heard him telling the others that Malfoy did something that made Harry fly off. You wanted to know more. After you were done eating your dinner, you walked over to the Gryffindor table.

"Hi, my name is (f/n)(l/n). Could you tell me what happend?" You asked the boy. You sat down across from him and, who one could only assume was, the famous Harry Potter. You noticed that this, dark haired boy was the same kid you saw at the train station looking around confused. You had no idea that he was a famous person. Well, famous I'm this world.

"I'm Ron Wesley," the boy said, with a mouth full of food. "Malfoy found the rememberbal," He paused for a moment to swallow. "that belongs to Neville Longbottom," Ron pointed to another kid. "And he flew off with it. Harry flew after him and..." you cut him off.

"I see, that's cool, thanks." You said smiling, then walked over to Malfoy at the Slytherin table.

"I need a word." You said coldly. Draco looked at you and his smirk vanished. You guessed he was reliving the accounts from the flying lesson. Without any words to his friends, he fallowed you into the hallway.

"If you and I are to be friends, you can't be such a bully!" You told him harshly. "I don't know what your problem is, but I can't be friends with someone who would tease others." You stormed back in to great hall to sit with your friends again. Draco stayed rooted in his spot.

Dracos pov.

"Did she realy just yell at me? Again?" He mumbled to himself, as you stormed back to your table. He was shocked that you were mad at him again, and for what this time?

What did he do to be called a bully? He looked into the hall. Draco saw you sitting with your friends from Hufflepuff. Why did he want to be friends with a mudblood anyways?

"Why is (y/n) so fascinating to me?" Draco asked himself, watching you.

Your pov.

You were still sitting with your friends; although, they thought you just when to the bathroom. You didn't want them to know you were friends with the school bully. You and Draco weren't going to stay friends if he didn't back off and be nice to people.

After a while, you and your friends went back to your common room, passing the stupid Slytherin as you walked out of the Great Hall. Draco was still standing there.

The next day was your trun for flying class. All the Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws each stood next to a broom laying on the ground. Madam Hootch was a tall woman with short white hair.

"Put your hand out over the broom and say 'up'. Once the broom has moved to your hand wait for the next instruction." She called out. You did what Hootch told you. The broom flew into your hand at once.

"Wow, that was cool." Sam was excited for you. She was standing right next to you. Sam couldn't get the broom to move at all, however.

"Calm down," you told her. "You're too excited. You're shouting 'up' more then say it." Sam looked at you with a smile.

"Ok, I got this." She told herself, taking a deep breath. "Up." The boom wabbled a little but did eventually fly into her hand.

The lesson was going ok. Most of the students were having trouble with balance. You were one of them. You didn't think it would be easy. Every time you make the broom hover you would fall off.

"Do you need help?" A Ravenclaw boy asked. He was about your height with brown hair and dark green eyes. You had fallen again. So you were laying on the ground when he asked. You put you hand out, and he help you up.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"Well, that's rude." You said playfully. He looked taken a back. You laughed and told him your name.

"In proper settings you tell your name before asking their name." You said smiling at him. He was cute and seemed sweet.

"Oh..." he replied. He didn't seem to know what to say after that.

"Well?" You questioned him. He looked confused at you. " What do I call you?"

"OH! I'm Sebastian Bell" he said laughing at himself. "You seem to be having trouble staying on your broom."

"Yeah, I noticed that." You said annoyed. Sebastian helped you understand the basics. Before you realized it, you were hovering about two feet off the ground.

Class ended and it was time for lunch. You invited your new friend to sit you and your Hufflepuff friends for lunch, but Sebastian declined.

A week had gone by. You discovered you also had Sebastian in your Postions class too. You weren't very good there either, but neither was Sebastian. You and he were getting along great. Sebastian was way nicer then Draco, who had been unusually quiet lately, well at least around you.

Friday came and went. Your second flying lesson was a good one. You got the hang of it fast. Truned out, you liked flying a broom. But the day was over and so ment the flying lesson. You had been laying in bed on your back staring at the ceiling thinking just how much fun flying was, when Sam popped into your veiw.

"That Ravenclaw seems nice." She said all bubbly.

"He is" you set up.

"Do you like him, hes kinda cute." Sam sat on her bed.

You shook your head no, "Not in that way. He's just a nice, friendly guy." The two of you talked for a while before you fell alseep.
