At lunch, the day after your detention with Umbridge, Granger showed up at the Hufflepuff table. She was asking a few students if they wanted to learn to defend themselves without Umbridge knowing. You and Sam had over herd her and joined in on the conversation.
"A secret meeting?" You whispered. Granger nodded.
"Yes, but please don't tell anyone." She looked concerned.
"If you mean, don't tell Draco Malfoy, dont worry, I won't. It would cause problems." You reinsurerd her. Granger smiled and told you that you would be meeting in the Hogshead, a pub in Hogsmeade. You nodded, understanding the plan.
"Sebastian will want to join in too." Sam said. Granger told her she could ask him if she liked, and Sam ran off to the Ravenclaw table.
The first Hogsmeades trip came along that fallowing weekend. Draco wanted you to spend the day with him, but if you were going to go to the meeting without him, you were going to have to ditch him. The only problem was, how? You walked around the village trying to think of a way when you spotted Crabbe and Goyle.
'That's how I'm gonna get away.' You thought as Draco walked you over to the boys. You talked with them for a minute or so, before you found your opportunity. The three boys were acting like they normal did, taunting a shop keeper.
"Draco?" You said getting his attention. He looked at you in fear that you were going to tell him to be nice. "I think I'm gonna go find Sam, while you and your friends hang out a bit." Draco's expiration lighted. "I'll meet up with you later." Draco nodded and gave you a kiss before you walked off. You weren't liying to him, you were going to go find Sam. You just purposely forgot to mention the secret meeting with Granger and anyone else who was comming. You met Sam and Sebastian just outside the Hogshead. The three of you walked into the the pub to see it full of students. There was Neville Longbottom, Dean Tomas, Lavendar Brown, Parvati and Padma Patil (twins), Cho Chang, Luna Lovegood (Sebastian's cusion), Kaite Bell, Alicia Spinnet, Angelina Johnson, Colin and Dennis Creevey (brothers), Ernie Macmillan, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Hannah Abbott (Hufflepuff's prefect), Suzan Bones, Anthony Goldstein, Michael Corner, Terry Boot, Ginny Weasley, Ron Weasley, Fred and George Weasley (twins), Zachariah Smith, Lee Jordan, Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. With you, sam and Sebastian that made a total of 30 people. You guys sat down and lessened to what Granger was saying.
"Well...erm....well, you know why you're here. Erm...well, Harry here had the idea -- I mean -- I had the idea -- that it might be good if people who want to study Defense Against the Dark Arts -- and I mean, really study it, you know, not the rubbish that Umbridge is doing with us, because nobody could call that Defense Against the Dark Arts." Granger said, sounding nervous. You liked the idea.
"Hear, hear." Goldstein said from the other side of the room. You agreed with him.
"Well, I thought it would be good if we, well, took matters into our own hands." Granger continued. She spoke about having Potter teach the crowd. Potter tryed to explain that he wasn't that good, that most of what his friend was saying were just flucks. None of what he had managed to do was on purpose, it was all by mear chance, or he had help. In the end he decided he would help out and teach those who wanted to learn. Granger had asked those who wanted to join to sign up and you, Sam and Sebastian jumped at the opportunity.
"If Malfoy finds out, that you're learning spells from Potter..." Sam started saying, as the two of you left with Sebastian.
"He'll be ferrous." You finished her sentence. "I know, but I can't continue to do nothing in Umbridge's classroom. I might end up losing my temper again, and she'll give me detention again and I'll..." You stopped yourself.
"You'll what?" Sam and Sebastian asked concerned. You showed them your hand. The mark was still there, a week later. You told them about how Umbridges lines didn't just mean lines on the parchment, but into your flesh as well. They both gave you a scard look.
"Just don't get detention with her." You worned them "Knowing that I'm learning behind her back will give me such pleasure, after getting this." You pointed at your hand.
You spilt from your friends to go find Draco a few minutes later. He was arguing with Perkinson again.
"I told you, Pansy, we are prefects. If you're going to be that way, don't do it to our house!" Draco yelled. You walked over towards them.
"I'll do what I please!" Perkinson yelled back. She looked up and spotted you, and speaking in a defeated tone said, "and here come your girlfriend, the influence that takes the fun out of you." Draco trund to see you.
"Do what?" You asked Draco, who didn't answer. "You said, not to do, what ever it was, to your house. So what can she do to the other three house at Hogwarts." You looked at both of them.
"We are the prefects, (l/n), not you! So, don't act like you have control over me." Perkinson said and stormed off. You looked back at Draco.
"She was picking on some Slytherin third years." Draco said barely loud enough for you to hear him.
"So, she can pick on the others then? Is that ok?" You asked coldly.
"No, it's not ok. I... I just thought that a Slytherin picking on other..." Draco said before you truned and walked away.
"Wait up!" Draco called out. "Don't be mad at me."
"I'm not mad, Draco. I'm disappointed in you. You are a school prefect. You represent, not just Slytherin, but the whole school." You said calmly.
"Then why are you walking away?" Draco asked.
"Because, I don't want to tell you to stop." You said and slipped into a shop, shutting the door in Draco's face.
Draco's pov
"What?" Draco asked himself. Did he just hear you right. You didn't want to tell him to stop. That wasn't like you at all. He opended the door and went inside after you.
Your pov
"(Y/n), what do mean you don't want to stop me?" Draco asked, confused. You shook your head.
"I'll talk to you later about it Draco." You said sighing. I don't want to fight.
