"It's not something I'm interested in and besides, I dont have time to be goofing off." Draco said plainly. You felt like he was pulling further and further away from you.

"O...k." You said softly and a bit disappointed that he didn't want to go to Slughorn's Christmas party with you.

"Why don't you see of your friend, Sam, wants to go." Draco suggested, not looking back at you.

"She's going with Sebation." You answered him. "I-it's ok, if you don't want to go, that's fine." You said in a fake sweet tone. "I can go by myself. I-it's no big deal." You said before walking away again. You went to library to find what you could on magical items and how to fix them. You ended up spending the day there and it wasn't until Sam found you that you realized you had never even shown up to the match.

"Hey (y/n)," Sam whispered, sitting across from you. "What are you doing?" She asked, looking down at your book.

"Ah, reading about magical items." You told her the truth. She looked at you puzzled, like she was about to ask why. "Did you know that many of the magical items we use are acutely muggle items that have been bewitched?" Sam looked at you like were being stupid.

"Well, duh." She said. "Anyways, is this where you've been all day?" Sam asked and before you could answer she went on. "Gryffindor won, by the way. I also noticed that Malfoy wasn't playing. I figured you be with him."

"Yeah, guess he's not feeling good." You told her. "So, I didn't really have a reason to watch the match, I thought I would use the time to..."

"Look up useless information?" She interrupted you, looking down at the book again.

"To work on some homework." You finished your sentence as if she said nothing. It wasn't a lie. Because of the books about magical items, you understand more about the classes your were struggling in.

Sam must have thought you were acting strange because she gave you the weird look then she said she was gonna go find Sebastian and bug him. You waved bye and returned your focus on the book you were reading.

As the day moved along, you had checked out a handful of books and was brought them in the star room. You had fallen asleep at the table soon after sitting down. You woke a while later to someone picking you up. You opened your eyes and smiled when you saw it was Draco. You closed your eyes again as he layed you down on the couch. You felt the blanket drape over you and heard Draco start the fire.

The next morning, you woke to Draco reading the books you had on the table. He was sitting in the arm chair, reading by the light of the fire.

"Good morning." You said, sitting up.

"Morning" Draco replied dully.

"Find anything useful?" You asked. He shook his head no. "Me neither." You yawned. You sat there for a minute before speaking again. "Well, I'm gonna go get ready for the day." You said. Draco didn't reply. What ever he was reading must have been interesting; not helpful, but interesting. You kissed his cheek then what you did what you said you were going to go do.

After a bit you went to find Draco in the room of Requirement. Students stood on either end stopping other students from going down the hall. They looked like plane students, but they were grading the room Draco was in. You walked up to the corridor only to be stoped, which you knew you would be.

"Im sorry, but you don't want to go down this corridor." The sweet voice of a little 1st year said. "Someone has set off of one of those stinky spells and trust me, its smells something offal." You smiled. This through the girl aback.

"I know you're either Crabb or Goyle." You said.

"Crabb," the sweet voice said in an admitting voice. "How did you know?"

"You're grading the Room of Requirement. And I know Draco's in there." You answered him.

"Then do you know what he's doing?" Crabb questioned you.

"Don't you?" You asked back. Crabb shook the head of the girl he was impersonating. "Well, then I'm not gonna say what he's doing. If he hasn't told you, then he doesn't want you to know." You said and moved along.

Once you entered the room you saw that Draco was looking at the cabinet. You walked up behind him and hug him. Draco jumped and truned to see it was just you.

"What are you doing here?" He asked as he truned back to the cabinet.

"I was just missing you." You said and let go of him. You looked over at the cabinet too. "So, why are you making Crabb and Goyle stand guard outside?"

"Someone had to make sure I stay alone." Draco answered. "Guess that didn't work with you did it?"

"You're the one who showed me this." You reminded him. "So don't get mad at them."

"Im not." Draco assured you. You stood there for a minute then spoke again.

"I'm gonna go explore this place." You said. Draco replied with "ok" in a distracted voice, so you wandered off. You looked around for a while and stumbled across some cool things. There was a box with a diadem in it, books that could fill another library,  chipped bottles of congealed potions, corked bottles whose contents still shimmered evilly, several rusting swords, hats, jewels, and much more items hidden here for generations. You looked around for about an hour before you heard Draco.

"(Y/n)!" He called over the mounds of stuff. "Im headed out!"

"Comming!" You hollered back. You made your way back to the cabinet. "Did you make any progress?" You asked him once you got there. Draco motioned that said he didn't know.
