You spent the night tossing and tuning. Quidditch was taking place the next day; Gryffindor vs. Slytherin. Surly, Draco would be playing. He loved Quidditch. You would catch up with after the game.
By sunrise the next morning, you still hadn't slept. You climbed out of bed and realized the only people awake at this time world be those playing in the upcoming match. That ment Draco would most likely be awake too. You got dressed and headed down to thw Great Hall only to find the Gryffindor team eating breakfast. The Slytherins weren't there. You looked around confused.
"Hey, (y/n)!" Said a very excited Ginny.
"Oh, hay" you replied, trying to sound excited too. "I don't mean to sound rude, but where's the Slytherin team?" You asked while still looking for them.
"Don't know." She said looking at their table too. "Oh there's a few." She pointed as a few team members stumbled into the hall. You watch for Draco but he wasn't with the group.
"Are you looking for Malfoy?" Ginny asked. You nodded still watching the team that seem to just wake up. "Oh..." she said sounding disappointed.
"Don't worrie, I noy only cheering for him." You said then leaned in the whisper. "I acutely don't care if they win, I just like watching him fly around." You glanced over to the Slytherin table again. "Infact, I hope the Gryffindor team wins. When the Slytherins win, Draco gets all full of himself." Ginny smilled and nodded in agreement.
"Well, I don't see him at all. Maybe he's still sleeping." Ginny said before saying her fair wells and heading back to her breakfast. Maybe he was still in bed. Snape did say that Draco wasn't feeling good. You waved bye to Ginny and headed off to the Slytherin common room. Once you got to the entrance, two Slytherin girls were steping out into the corridor. They seemed to be first years, excited to watch the match. You stood there wating for them to move along so you could go check on Draco.
"What is a Hufflepuff doing here?" One of the girls ask in a snarky voice.
"Huh, be quite," the other girl whispered to her friend. "That's Malfoys girl." She said, as if you couldn't hear them. You smiled and walked up to them. They both froze on the spot.
"Hi," you said sweetly and bent down to their level. "What has Draco been telling you?" You asked. Neither of them moved. "You don't have to be scared of me." You said and sat down on the ground in front of them. They looked at each other.
"What are are you doing?" The first girl ask you.
"Well, I was asking you what Draco has been saying about me." You replied, knowing vary well, that's not what she ment.
"No, why are you sitting on the floor?" She asked rudely.
"Because I want to." You said plainly. "Let's start over, my name is (y/n). What are your names?" The two girls looked at each other again.
"Well, I'm Emma," the second girl answered. "And this is Eva." Eva glared at Emma.
"Why did you go and tell her our names!?" Emma scolded her friend.
"She would have found out in the end." The two girls argued. You sat there on the floor watching them. Finally they both stoped, realizing you were still there, and slowly truned to look at you again.
"Now that that's out of the way," you said with a smile as if you hadn't noticed the fight. "It's nice to meet the both of you." They looked at you like you were out of your mind. "Now, what makes you guys, Slytherins, afraid of me, a Hufflepuff?" You asked.
"Ah," Emma said and glanced at Eva, "it's just I know that you're Malfoys girl friend and well," she stoped again. "Do you know what's on his arm?" She asked in a whisper. You decided to play stupid and act like you didn't. You shook your head no. "The mark" she whispered quiter then before. You gave her a confused look.
"Did he show it to you or anyone else?" You asked. She shook he head.
"No, I saw it the other day when he scratched his arm." She replied, scared.
"You must have not seen it right." You assured her and stood up. "Here, I'll go talk to him and see of its there."
You faced the entrance and said "Anguis" to the stone wall and walked into the Slytherin common room.
"We should've known you knew the password." Eva said, amazed. You smiled at her.
"I'll go up and talk to Draco. I'll be right back" you said and walked up to Draco's dorm room. The girls stayed below which was good. You knocked on the door to his room. But was Zack, another perfect, who opend the door.
"Hey, (y/n). Whats up?" He asked, happy to see you there. Before you got a chance to answer you heard Draco in thw background.
"She's here to see me." He said in a drawl. Zack stepped a side and you stepped into the room. Zack shut the door behind you.
"He hasn't been feeling good, but will not go see Madam Pomfrey." Zack said.
"I know." You said and sat on the side of Draco's bed. Draco stayed laying down.
"What do you want?" Draco asked in a pissy mood. You looked at Zack, who was the only other person in the room.
"Can I have a minute to talk to him alone please?" You asked. Zack gave you a dirty look but did leave the room. You layed down next to Draco. "I know your don't feel good, but I need you talk to me." You said pulling yourself into his back.
"Leave me along." He said coldly. You sat up.
"I will not Draco. I haven't seen you in a while. I haven't even heard from you. Now sit up and talk with me." You demanded of him. When he just layed there, you got angrier with him. "Draco Malfoy!" You said sharply. "I have been worried about you. You don't talk to me like you use to. I know you have a lot on your plate but that is not reason to treat me this way. I am not one of your lackeys!" Draco sat up. "You have two first years down in the common room terrified of you because they saw this." You pulled Dracos sleave up. "Now pull yourself together, use the canceling charm on your arm and get you butt down stairs." Draco looked at you shocked.
"Fine," he said and pulled out his wand. Did as you asked and went down to the girls. You fallowed after him.
"Show them your arms Draco." You said sweetly. Draco gave you a dirty look but did as he was told. When the girls saw nothing there, they seemed relieved. "See, it was just the light." The girls apologized for they way they acted and off they went to the match.
