A couple of days had gone by sence you told Malfoy you couldn't be friends with someone who would pick on someone else. He haded spoke to you sence then either; in fact, you haded even been stared at by him. It was nice to not have to deal with the arrogant brat.

Postions class with Snap was definitely the class you hated most. Snap was tall with black oily hair. He seemed to be one of the more strict teachers at the school. To add to his cold personality, Snape wasn't that kind, if you did something wrong in his postions class.

You just got out of his class with the Ravenclaws. You struggled big time in that class. Your friends couldn't even help you truly understand why the poison today kept exploding. Snap had given you extra reading homework to figure it out. And you didn't just read, he also wanted an essay on it. Not to mention he took 10 points from your house.

It was your free period. You sat in the libary reading and a while went by. You still couldn't find the answers you were looking for. How were you going to finish your essay if you didn't know what you were doing?

"You look frustrated." Draco said, pulling the book you were holding down. You didn't even realize he was watching you read.

"I am." You said, with a frustrated tone, not looking up. You pulled your book back up and started reading.

"I can help, if you'd like." Draco said sitting down across from you.

"Are you going to continue to be a school bully?" You sounded like you didn't believe he could be anything but.

"Fine! Stuggle!" Draco stood up.

"Wait, ok." You looked up at him. You told him about how you were struggling in positions. How it would explode. Draco sat back down with a smirk on his, I know eveything, face.

Draco helped you for a while, and you were just starting to understand. The time came for you to go to your class; Charms with the Slytherins.

"We should get to our next class." You said while packing up. "Thanks," you added in a timid voice. You walked out of the libary. Draco fallowed you to class without a word. Unfortunately, his seat was next to yours in this class. But you weren't as mad at him as you were before his help in the libary. Class went by just fine, and you were actually having a laugh with Draco.

Flitwick, the teacher, had you sending feathers across the room and pulling them back. Draco and you were made to buddy up. He kept making the feather go up in the air and plumed it back to the ground.

"That's not what were supposed to make it do" you told him. He wasn't listening to you.

"Malfoy," you got his attention. He sent to feather across the room. Draco smiled devilishy at you.

"What are you going to do?" You asked scard. Draco glanced back at the feather, which started coming back. Somehow. He made it multiply. Before you realized it, you were coverd in white feathers. They barried you. You climbed out of the pile, laughing, when you heard Flitwick.

"Malfoy, (l/n)! Charms are not games." You both looked up. You stoped laughing and Draco's smile left. "Minus 5 points each! Now clean this mess up!" You started cleaning up the feathers.

Class ended and you were still picking up the feathers. Flitwick had told you and Draco not to use your wands to clean the mess up. The student's all filed out.

"Professor?" You heard Draco's voice. "(y/n), had nothing to do with the feathers." He went on. You acted like you couldn't hear him. He was talking quietly. Was Malfoy really taking responsibility for his actions?

"I was the one fooling around, she was telling me..." he was cut off.

"You were partners, Malfoy." Flitwick said, " that means you both have to take responsibility for what happens."

You finished cleaning up the feathers. After dinner you had gone outside. It was getting chilly out. Fall was just around the corner. You felt something fall onto your shoulders.

"It's cold out here."

"Thanks, Malfoy." You said looking at him. "A-And not just for your robes," you didn't know why, but you blushed a little bit.

"What for then?" Draco asked, confused. It was funny to see him look confused.

"I heard you talking to Flitwick." You smiled at him.

"It did me no good, you still got the points taken from Hufflepuff." Draco acted like he got no benefit from his actions. You truned to him and hugged him. He stood there shocked.

"I'm glad that you can act like a normal kid after all." You told him and handed him back his robe. You started walking back to the school.

"Wait," Draco called after you. He ran over. "Remember when you asked me about the 3rd floor corridor?" You looked at him like he was nuts. "I heard Potter and Weasley's talking about a Three headed dog up there."

"You think it's true?" A three headed Dog? That sound far fetched, even for a world like this one.

"Yeah, probably. Want to see for ourselfs?" He asked.

"You do realize, if we get caught we'll most likely be expelled." You gave him a look as to ask him what his father would say if that were to happen to him.

"Oh come on (y/n)." He said walking past you. You watched him go. He was definitely still a nut.

That night, you layed in you bed thinking about how Draco was unusually kind today. Could a three headed dog really be in the third floor corridor? Now curiosity had gotten a hold of you. You waited for the common room to be empty with the students all in bed. You snuck out and found your way to the corridor. You used the charm lumos for light. The tip of your wand lit up like a flashlight. You were on the third floor when you head Draco.

"I thought you wouldn't be able to resist." You jumped.

"Oh, Malfoy! You should just go tell on us" You whisper yelled at him. "You almost made me scream." Draco smiled. "It's not funny, you dim wit." The two of you snuck around the halls looking for the three headed dog.

"Students out of bed!" You heard peeves, a mischeevious ghost who liked getting students into trouble. You and Draco both looked at each other terrified. Had peeves spotted you? You both ran into a room and shut the door enogh to hide. Draco was watching out the door, when he saw McGonagall come around the corner a few minutes later with two boys who looked identical.

"Those two are the Weasley twins" Draco whispered. "Those two are always getting into trouble." When McGonagall was gone, Draco looked like he was having second thoughts about this adventure.

"I'm gonna go back before we get cought too." Draco said scared.

"Are you being a coward?" You asked. He nodded and left. You heard a low growl from behind you. Holding your lit want up, you saw a giant three headed dog. You slowly backed out of the room and ran back to your dorm. Thankfully no one spotted you. You climbed into bed. Sam was sound asleep and never knew you were ever out.
