He was trying to make you jealous? You could have laughed. You were far from jealous.
"Draco, I was so angry with you. I didn't care who you were with." You said, closing your book.
"I figured that out when you told Pansy where I was the day I helped you in the libary." He said.
"She told you then?" You asked, leaning you head back on the tree trunk. Draco nodded and did the same.
"So, why are you hidding from her?" You asked after a few minutes.
"She's irritating me. She wants me to help her study." He said annoyed. "It's not my fault she didn't study all year long."
"So you're not gonna help her?" You asked confused.
"No" Draco said matter of factly.
"Why not?" You asked him, sitting up to look at Draco. He truned and gave you a diry look.
"It would be a nice thing to do." You said leaning back on the tree. "She is your girlfriend."
"Yeah, well." Draco replied, laying back on the tree too. "I have my own studying to do."
"Draco, just do it." You stood up and faced him. "You'll be surprised how much you can learn just by helping someone else." You left your stuff next to Draco and told him you would be right back.
Draco's pov
'She wants me to help Pansy? She doesn't like Pansy.' Draco thought as he watched you walk into the castle. He didn't want to study with Perkinson.
"I wanted to study with you though." He whispered to himself as if you were still there. Draco pulled his book from his bag and started reading it. Before long he saw you walking back.
Your pov
"Were did you go?" Draco asked as you sat back down and opended your book.
"To the bathroom." You said slowly as if to tell him it wasn't really any of his business.
"I thought for sure you went to find Pansy." He said sounding afraid to speak.
"Why should I go find her? If you don't want to study with her, I can't make you." You said, looking at him.
"Besides, with Sam and Sebastian off studying together, if you can call it that, it's nice to have you around." You spoke softly and shyly. You didn't know why you spoke like this, but that's what you did. Draco looked up from his book and at you.
"I miss you, (y/n)." Draco said quietly. You looked at him.
"I miss you too." You replied staring into his eyes for a few seconds before looking back at your book. You were still upset with him for being such a jerk to people, but you did like having him near you.
The days went by and the exams were comming to an end. You happend to be walking across the courtyard when you spotted Buckbeak in the sideyard of Hagrids hut. You walked over to visit him.
"Hello there boy," you said bowing. Buckbeak was laying down so he bent his head down in a bow. You sat down next to the hippogriff.
"I hear things aren't going good for you, are they?" You said sadly. "I know it doesn't change anything, but Draco did tell the ministry what really happened." You rested your head on Buckbeaks arm.
"(Y/n), what are ya doin' out 'ere?" You heard Hagrid ask. You looked up at him.
"I wanted to sat good bye to him before...well you know." You said, tears forming in your eyes. Hagrid sat down next to you.
"Ya know then, huh?" He said. You nodded.
"I had a feeling things weren't going to change. The Malfoys were involved."
"They're gonin' kill 'em at dusk." Hagrid said is a somber tone. You hugged Hagrid. "You better get back to the castle, it's almost time for curfew." You agreed and headed off. You got threw the doors and heard Draco talking about Buckbeaks execution.
"The dangerous creature is done for now, Drakey." Perkinson said.
"Yeah, well hippogriffs are dangerous." Draco said coldly. You flipped around the corner.
"How would you all feel if it was you who was losing a pet?" You yelled at the group of Slytherins. You faced Draco.
"Imagine for a moment that someone did something to Arrow. Arrow just defends himself, like animals do, and that person got hurt. Then that person goes crying to their mommy and daddy. Their parents get involved and Arrow gets killed. HOW would you feel?" You yelled at him. Draco stood there flabbergasted. "That's how Hagrid feels!" You stormed off absolutely pissed off at Draco. How could he be so cold? You got to your dorm room. Sam was already in bed. You crowled into your bed. (N/n) climbed on the foot of the bed and looked up at you. You were trying to sleep, but your niffler was walking on you like a cat, who wanted attention.
"I'm sorry, (n/n). Draco's got me all worked up. He says he understands but he doesn't get how others feel when he messes up." You told your pet. (N/n) nugged your cheek and ran off. You rolled over and went to sleep.
Draco's pov
Draco was laying in his bed, thinking about how you yelled at him in front of the other Slytherins, when he felt something jump on his bed.
"Go away." He said thinking it was one of the cats in the house. The creature walked up his side and sat on his shoulder.
"Seriously!" Draco said annoyed, sitting up.
"(N/n)? What are you doing here?" Draco picked the niffler up. (N/n) looked at him. "I know," Draco layed back down, after placing (n/n) down at the foot of the bed. "She's mad at me again. Don't rub it in." Draco layed there for a little bit then decided to go for a walk.
Your pov
You couldn't sleep so you got up and walked out of the common room. You made your way to the star room as Draco was now calling the abandoned room. You walked in. The fire was already lit.
"Draco?" You asked cautiously. You walk around and found him sleeping on the couch. (N/n) was sleeping next to him.
