You woke up about an hour after your nap started. Draco was grumbling about not being able to use his self-correcting ink on the upcoming exams.

A few days before the weekend arrived, Professor Sprout handed out the O.W.L. schudels and explained how things worked.

"As you can see, your O.W.L.s are spread over two successive weeks.  You will sit a theory exam in the morning and the practice in the afternoons. Your practical astronomy examination will, of course take place at night, for those taking it. Now, I must warn you, that the most stringent Anti-Cheating charmes have been applied to your examination papers. Auto-Answer Quills are banned from the examination hall, as are Rememberalls, Detachable Cribbing Cuffs, and Self-Correcting Ink. Every year, there seems to be at least one student who think that he or she can get around the Wizarding Examination Authorities Rules. I can only hope that it is nobody in Hufflepuff.  Our new Headmistress has asked that the heads of houses tell their students that cheating will be punished most severely because, of course, your examination results will reflect upon the Headmistress's new regime at the school. However, that is no reason not to do your very best. You will have your own futures to think about. An owl will be sent to you sometime in July with the results of your test." Professor Sprout went on. The other head of houses must have said something along those same lines because Draco was complaining about the rules. You sat up and joined him at the table.

"Then stop complaining,' You said annoyed as you handed him his book. He gave you a dirty look. "Studying is the only way to get threw the exams." Draco's look narrowed before he got up and left the room. You shrugged your shoulders and went to get some breakfast. After which, you returned to the star room. Draco was making things race each other around the room.

"I see you've got the locomotion charm down." You said sitting beside his on the couch.

"Yeah, proforming the charms are not the problem." Draco said frustrated. "It's the theory behind them that'sgot me all flustered."

"Well then," you said in a playful tone and taking ahold of his wand. "Put the wand away, and pick up the book." Draco shot daggers at you, but you continued to smile at him. "And in return," you leaned in closer, grinning with an evil smile. "You can help me study for the postions exam." You finished your sentence then gave him a small peck on the lips. You stood up and pulled Draco over the the table, where the two of you spend most of Saturday and Sunday studying. Sunday night rolled around and you discovered yourself at the Hufflepuff table. The next morning was going to be the start of the exams and you felt that you and Draco had done all you could to be prepared. As you ate, you noticed Umbridge making her way down the length of the tables to the doors. Standing at the entrance to the Great Hall, was a small group of old witches and wizards. Umbridge looked very nervous, which made you smile. She deserved to feel like she was the one being judged.

"What are you smiling about?" Sam asked curiously.

"They must be the examiners." You said, tilting your head in their direction. Sam looked over the table and saw was you were seeing. She smiled too. Umbridge spoke with them for a few moments, and it wasn't long before Umbridge was leading them away from the door and off to the staff room.

"Well, we better get some last minute studying done before bed." Sam said and headed off to the dorm room. You agreed and got up from the table too. As you fallowed Sam back to the Hufflepuff common room, Draco caught up with you.

"I'm too nervous to sleep." Draco said in a hushed whisper, as if he was embarrassed by the thought of him being nervous.

"I'll catch up with you in a minute." You said to Sam, who nodded with a smile and walked off.

"If I don't pass..." Draco started panicking.

"Calm down." You urged him, taking his hand. "You'll do just fine." Draco looked at you like you were nuts.

"But what if I don't? My father will be livid..." Draco asked, clearly afraid of failure.

"He'll have to go threw me." You said smiling. "Not to mention, he would have to go threw your mother before that." You tryed to calm him, but he wasn't to settle anytime soon. "You'll be fine." You repeated. "Now, go to your dorm and get some rest." He nodded and took a deep breath. "Goodnight, my Slytherin Prince." You whispered before kissing him goodnight.

Back in the Hufflepuff common room, sam had fallen asleep at the table by the fire. You walked in and saw her druling all over the table. You woke her up and helped her off to bed.

The next moring came like a large wave crashing over the rocks on the beach. You didn't get much sleep. Your brain kept running threw the questions that might aper on the first test, which was for Charms. You climbed out of bed and started your day like any other. You took a shower, got dressed and headed down to breakfast. After eating with the rest of the school, you walked out of the Great Hall so that the staff could rearrange the tables. The exams would be held in the Great Hall. As you waited to reenter, you spotted Draco acting as arrogant as he normally did. You knew he was nervous though. You rolled your eyes.

"Are you ready?" Sam asked, pulling you back from your thoughts. You nodded.

"How about you?" You asked.

"Not sure." She said, shaking.

"You'll be fine." You managed to say before the doors opened and the 5th years entered.
