You thought maybe you should write and tell at least Sam. She was your best friend and she would tell you if some had kissed her. You stood up from the swing and headed inside. Draco had been letting you use Arrow to send letters back and forth to your friends all summer long so he wouldn't mind it again. You opened his bedroom door and sat down at his desk. It was strange to be in there with out him. You started writing to Sam when the door opend. You looked up to see Parkinson.

"Oh, it's just you." You said before returning to your letter.

"What are you doing in Draco's room?" She asked angrily.

"I could ask you the very same question." You didn't look up from your paper. Arrow hooted angrily back at her, as if he was agreeing with you.

"That is non of your business." She answered. You got a tiny smile and ignored her. You finished your letter to Sam and gave it to Arrow, who then flew out the window.

"That's not even your owl." Perkinson said with jealousy in her voice.

"Yeah, Arrow is Draco's bird." You said slowly walking passed her. "And I'll make you a deal." You trun to face her, when you got to the door. She had made her way to the bed. Perkinson gave you a questioning look.

"I won't tell Draco you were in here, if, and only if, you tell me what you're doing and then you don't do it, and stay out of here." She gave you a look that could have killed you in the spot were you stood.

"Well, suit yourself." You said grabbing the door handle and pulling the door closed.

"Wait! ok." She said chasing after you. You were already a few steps from Draco's room.

"I was...." she stoped and was the color of an over ripe cherry. You waited patiently for her to continue.

"I just wanted to lay in his bed for a bit. You know, while he's gone off with Crabbe and Goyle for the day." Perkinson finally said. "You won't tell him though, right?"

"Only if you stay out of his room." You said and walked away. It was wired that she wanted to lay in his bed when he was gone. She was acting like she was Draco's stocker. She just really liked him though.

Later that day, you were sitting in the drawing room with Narissa. The two of you had been talking about school. She was telling you about her days at Hogwarts, when Draco walked in from a long day out with his friends. He didn't say anything to you or his mom. You must have looked like you were deep in conversation. Draco sat down beside you and took your hand. You smiled at him and went back to listening to his mother.

'It wasn't like we were always fighting, but we didn't always agree either." She said looking at her son for only a second. "You don't have to worrie though dear, things will be fine in the end." Narissa said with a smile. She politely dismissed herself and walked out of the room.

"What was all that about?" Draco asked. You smiled and layed your head on his shoulder.

"It's nothing. I was just asking your mom about her days at school." You said, moving the hand that he was using to to hold yours, with your other hand, you pulled it around you. "I just wanted to know if your parents fought like we do sometimes." Draco looked at you confused. It wasn't like you were fighting. "Don't worrie. I was just curious, because I'm sure ar some point we will fight. 'That's just what couples do.' But well be ok in the end." You said repeating what Narissa said to you. Draco smiled at you.

"Why would you think we are going to fight?" Draco asked you.

"I'm just afraid that you'll become the jerk you are in school." You said looking at him. "I know you said you would try not to be, but I still feel like you will." You rested you head on his shoulder.

"Your my Hufflepuff Princess." Draco said. "We will work it out in the end."

"How was your day with Crabbe and Goyle?" You asked putting your arm around his chest.

"It was boring." He said plainly. You pulled your feet up onto the couch.

"How come?" You said, sitting up. He shook his head.

"It was Crabbe and Goyle." Draco leaned in and kissed you. You smiled and kissed him back.

"Oh, before I forget. If Arrow's not on his perch, it's becuase I sent him off with a letter to Sam." You layed your head back down on his shoulder.

"That's fine." He said pulling you close to him. "How was your day?"

"Just as boring as yours." You replied, closing your eyes. You wanted to tell Draco about Perkinson but you did give your word not to tell him as long as she stayed out of his room. And, to your knowledge, she had. You closed your eyes for just a minute, but you must had fallen asleep. You woke up to Draco carring you bridal style up the stairs.

"Draco." You said smiling, still half asleep. You wrapped your arms around his neck. He put you down when you got to the second floor. You still had your arms around his neck. He leaned in and kissed you.

"You can let go now." He said softly. You shook your head and leaned into him, moving your arms to his chest.

"I don't want to." You said closing your eyes. He took your hand and lead you over to your room. You heard a scream come from Draco's room next door. You were awake now. Draco sat you down in a chair that was just inside your door, and went to his room.

Draco's pov

Draco opend his door to see Arrow attacking Perkinson. He managed to get Arrow back onto his perch.

"What are you doing in my room?" Draco asked the bloody Perkinson. She just looked up at him shocked.

Your pov

You heard him ask someone what they were doing. You stood up and made your way to Draco's room.

"She was in here earlier too." You said sitting down at his desk. Arrow jumped from his perch onto the desk and you started petting the bird. Draco looked at you then back at Perkinson. She didn't say anything but gave you a pleading look.

"I would have told you earlier, but I told her," you nodded at Perkinson. "That I wouldn't say anything if she stayed out of here." Draco looked back at you.

"I see, so you planned on hidding this from me did you?" He didn't sound happy. You nodded, looking disappointed in yourself. You had made Draco angry with you. Draco looked back at Perkinson.

"Well? What are you doing?" Draco's voice rising with each syllable. Parkinson ran out and Draco faced you. His face red from his temper rising.

"I'm sorry. " You said almost crying. Draco took a deep breath and sat down on the foot of his bed.

"I made her a deal. I was just keeping my word." Your voice cracked due to you holding back tears. Draco didn't say anything and just pointed at his door. You stood and slowly walked out shutting the door behind you.
