The next day, you decided to study outside in the sunshine. You settled down by the lake and leaned agenst a tree. As you read, you heard people talking.
"Well, I mean, I'd already let in that one of Davies's, so I wasn't feeling that confident, but I dunno, when Bradley came towards me just out of nowhere, I thought 'you can do this!' And I had about a second to decide which way to fly..." you looked up to see Weasley telling Potter and Granger about the Quidditch match. You looked back at your book, as Weasley went on. They slowly faded from your ears until you heard Potter say, "It was Hagrid." You looked up. "He decided to tell us why he's been covered on injuries ever since he got back from the giants."
'Giants?' You thought, and listened closely while looking into your book.
"Hargrid took us into the forest." Granger said.
"Pritty deep too." Potter joined in. "Hagrid's hidding his younger half brother, Grawp, there."
"Grawp is very dangerous, so Hagrid has his tied up...AND... he wants us to keep him company and teach him English." Granger said, a bit frightened.
"He brought on one back and hid it in the forest?" Weasley said, amazed.
"Yep" Potter said, sounding nervous.
"No, no he can't have..." Weasley replied in horror.
"Well, he has." Granger stated. "Grawp's about sixteen feet tall, enjoys ripping up twenty-four pine trees, and knows me," she snorted, "as Hermy."
"What are you doing out here?" Draco asked you. You looked up with a small jump. You haded noticed that he had found you. He smiled at your jump and sat down.
"I'm working on some homework." You replied and he sat down. You wanted to keep listening, but did want to let Draco know that's what you were doing.
"What are you working on now?" Draco asked and took the book from you.
"The Defense Against the Dark Arts essay." You said and layed down, using Draco's lap as a pillow. "Now that you've so rudly stolen my book," you said sarcastically, "you can read it to me." You smiled up at him.
"Alright, let's see..." he flipped back to beginning of the chapter. "If I'm gonna do that, then I might as well work on mine too." You had already finished your essay. You just wanted to refine it a bit. As Draco read, you closed your eyes. Draco's voice slowly faded into the background as you drifted off.
"Welcome back," a voice said. Your eyes snapped open. You were in the dark room again, the ball of energy flaoting near by.
"What am I doing back here?" You asked yourself, as you got to your feet.
"Another memory is ready to come to light." The energy ball said, and the room vanished with snapping sound. A child you, sat at a table surrounded with other children about your age. You recognize them from your muggle school. It appeared to a birthday party.
"I never had parties for my birthdays." You said and looked back the orb of energy.
"Happy 8th birthday, sweetie." Your mother said, placing a cake in front of you. You, at 8 years old, blow out the candles.
"What did you wish for?" You tuned around see a yung Draco walking up behind you. He walked right threw you and hugged the yunger you.
"Draco! You're back." Young you said and hugged him back.
"Yeah, we got back this morning. Father told me to come over, though I didn't know why at the time." Draco said looking around. "I wonder if he knew that there would be muggles here."
