You went to bed last night, with Draco on your mind. He was so nice, as long as his other friends weren't around.
When you woke up the sun was already high in the sky. You must have slept in. You went down stares to find Draco sitting at the table.
"Good morning." He said turning in his chair.
"Morning." You were still groggy, as you stumbled to the table and sat down next to him. "You know, last summer, you didn't want to eat here and called my mom a muggle." You said serving yourself some eggs.
"Did I?" He acted like it never happened. "Last summer, we weren't friends." Draco smiled at you.
"Won't you get into trouble with your father? He doesn't like muggles, remember? I'm also sure he knows I'm a muggle-born, won't he be livid?" You questioned him, still half asleep.
"He's not home," Draco seemed happy about that. "He had to go into the office. Don't know why, but he said he would be there till late tonight."
"So your gonna spend the day here again, what about your mother? What does she think?"
"She doesn't like it but said 'don't get caught', besides what harm could it cause? It's not like I'm going to become a mudblood by hanging out here." Yeah, he was right.
"It could be worse, I could be going to America with you." He said laughing. You thought about him flying on a plane, it would be funny. He probably didn't even know what a plane was. You smiled at that thought.
Draco's pov.
'She's so cute when she smiles. What is she thinking about to make her smile?' He thought to himself, while looking at you. 'Shes so caring too, even about someone like me. She was concerned that if I were to be caught over here, I would be in loads of trouble.' He was watching you.
You, of course, were right. If his father found out he was at the muggle house next door, there would be hell to pay. He didn't care though, it was worth it. He liked you, but hoped you hadn't figured that out.
'Why did I come over here? Was it to see her world some more, or, was it that I wanted to be around her while I can?' His thoughts were flying around his head like a crazed Quidditch game.
Your pov.
"What?" You asked Draco, who was staring at you. He truned bright red and looked away. This made you smile at him. You liked making him trun red. He made it obvious that he had a crush on you.
After you ate, you and Draco went outside. The day went by with you showing him more about the muggle world. Things like the car seemed to entertain him. Draco kept looking away from you while you spoke. He was trying to hid the fact that he liked you. He felt that his face was going to be stuck in a prominent blush.
As the sun started setting, you found yourself sitting on a tree branch with Draco. The sky was colored pink, with the far off trees truning into silhouettes of themselfs. It was getting late alright and you were so exhausted. You softly layed your head on Dracos shoulder.
"You ok?" He asked you in a caring tone.
"Yeah, I'm just really sleepy," you said yawning. "And I have to pack. We leave for our trip in the morning."
"You should go do that then." Draco said, putting his hand on your shoulder. You didn't want to move. It was nice up in the tree with him. He was being so kind for once. Was this the real Draco Malfoy? You liked this version of him. Why couldn't he be this way all the time. He was sweet when it was just the two of you.
Draco's pov.
'Is she realy going to fall asleep on my shoulder?' He thought. Draco could feel his face trun red again. 'She sure can make me blush a lot.'
"(Y/n)?" He spoke your name softly as if you didn't hear him the first time.
"Hmm?" You magened to respond. You were slowly falling asleep.
"I have to go home, and you have to go pack." Draco said in an almost whisper.
Your pov.
You sat up. You really wanted to stay the way you were. You were extremely comfortable in the tree with him. He was right though. But who knew when you would get the chance to spend time with this Draco again. You looked at him with a sweet smile. Draco blushed again.
Draco's pov.
'Why does she do that?' He thought.
"We should get down." Draco said crawling to the trunk of the tree. The two of you climbed down.
"I had fun today." you told him when you got down.
"Yeah, me too." He blushed. "I've never climbed up a tree until today. My father said there was no reason to do it, and wouldn't allow it."
"And, what do you think? Was there no reason?" You asked him in a sarcastic tone.
"It was beautiful up there." He looked at the harizon. "I hope you have fun in America. I don't know if Arrow will make it to you there," he said still blushing and looking at the skyline. "So..." you stoped him.
"I will figure out how to get a letter to you, even if it is by muggle mail. You have to bring our mail in anyways." He smiled looking back at you and, to your amazement, hugged you. He said good night and went home hopeing his father wasn't back yet.
Your pov.
You went inside and packed some cloths before slipping into bed. Draco was on your mind as you drifted off to seep. He had spend two whole days with you. Two whole days without him being a jerk. Two whole days with you slowly falling for him. Were you really falling for the school bully? He had been so sweet to you in the last few days.
"If he wasn't so mean to the other students..." You mumbled before you dozed off to sleep with a grin on your face. Yes, you were, indeed, falling for Draco Malfoy, the school jerk.
