You spent most of the day walking with Draco, who had bought stuff and was now carrying a bag all around Diagon Alley. It was getting late when you spotted an old book store.

"Let's go in there." You said, pointing at the shop.

"It's just an old book store." Draco said. "They have old, run down books in there. The're not worth it."

"Well, I'm going in." You said defiantly. You took a few steps then turned back. "Besides, we might find just what we're looking for." Draco tilted his head in confusion. You rolled your eyes at him and entered the shop.

"Welcome!" An old witch, dressed in a light blue robe, greeted you.

"Hi," you said excitedly. You started looking around. There were a lot of different kinds of book from old text books to chapter books to picture books. You picked up a children's book called 'The Tales of Beetle the Bard.' You opened the book up and started reading a story about three brothers who spoke with Death himself.

"That is one of the original copies." The witch said, who had appeared next to you. "It may differ from the stories you know." You didn't actually know any of the stories in this book. After all, these were fairy tales from the Wizarding world. You knew the fairy tales from the Muggle world. You looked at the cover of the book, as if waiting for it to say something to you. "Is there something I can help you find?" The the shop keep asked. You looked at her.

"Ah....." You thought for a moment. "Actually, yeah."

"(Y/n)?" Draco said from behind you. "We should be going." You turned around. "We can't ask her for her help to find what I know your looking for." He whispered, quitely. He must have figured out that you were looking for a book to help with the cabinet. You looked back at the old witch.

"I'm looking for something that can help me fix my grams old cupboard." You said, as if Draco hadn't interrupted you.

"What's wrong with it?" The witch asked.

"Well," you started and Draco nudged you. You gave him a dirty look then answered her questio. "It use to hold a lot of things but now, it's no different than a regular cupboard. We're not sure what happened to it." You explained.

"I might have something the could help." She said and wondered off.

"What are you doing!?" Draco whisper yelled. "No one can know..."

"She doesn't have clue what I'm doing with the book." You said. "If the book she brings back can fix this cupboard, that doesn't exist, we might be able to use it to fix other things too." You explained just as the witch returned.

"I believe this book will help." She handed you and old, heavy, leather bound book called, 'Magical items that need mending and how to do so.'

"Thanks," you said and handed the book to Draco. "I'll take it. Oh, and this too." You showed her the children's book you were reading earlier. You paid for the books and left the shop.

"Do you really think this book is going to help?" Draco asked, eyeing the book as he handed it back to you. You nodded. "Out of all the thousands of books in the school, you couldn't find one that helped. And you think that one will help?" Again you nodded.

" Let's go home and see what we can find." You said, walking towards the exit of Diagon Alley.

"Alright, I guess." Draco sighed, defeated.

You got back to the muggle house and plopped the heavy book down on the table. Draco, who was still carrying a bag of stuff, went up stairs. You sat down at started flipping through the book.

'This book is ment to help you mend the items in this book.' You read out loud. 'All through you may find items that are similar to the ones found in this book, you may not be able to fully mend those items.'

"Sounds like it's not going to work." Draco said, as he walked down the steps.

"It's worth a try, Draco." You replied. "It's better than taking a wild guess on how to fix the cabinet. Besides, it says 'may not' and 'fully' which means that it should work but not at 100%. We can go from there." You turned back to the book. Draco sat down on the couch.

"Hey, how do I get this thing to work?" Draco asked after a few minutes. You looked up to see him pushing buttons on the remote to the T.V. You couldn't help but smile at him.

"Push the button that looks like a circle with a line" You told him and returned to reading. You gave up a few seconds later when he got the T.V. on and the sound was too loud. You watched as he tried to figure out how to change the volume. You smiled again and marked the page you were reading about how magical items were made. You joined Draco on the couch, and took the remote from him.

"This is the volume." You showed him and turned down the sound.

"Sorry," He apologized. "I didn't mean to interpret your reading."

"Teahing you to use muggle things, is way more fun anyways." You said. "I can read it later, like when we get back to school and you go back in ignoring the world that exists around you." You said sarcastically and layed your head on his shoulder. You Draco back the remote, showing him how to change the channel. You were watching an old black and white show when you drifted off to sleep.
