You pulled the blanket over Draco. You started keeping a blanket in the star room because you seem to always fall asleep in there. It was a change of pace to find Draco sleeping instead of him finding you. You sat down in the arm chair that Draco must have put there. The fire was worm. You didn't want to be angry with Draco anymore. It was exhausting to stay away from him. You wanted to be around him. You closed your eyes, and before you knew it you were sleeping.

Draco's  pov

Draco woke up a few hours after you joined him. He sat up and saw that you must have covered him up. You were sound asleep in the arm chair he drug down there. He found it in an old room full of other stuff that wasn't being used anymore. Draco smiled at you.

"What are you doing here?" He whispered as he put the blanket over you. "I figured you were mad at me again." You moved a little then pulled the blanket closer. (N/n) was still sleeping at the foot of the couch. Draco picked the sleeping niffler up and placed him on your lap. He watched you sleep for a minute then kissed your forehead, before leaving the room.

Your pov

You opened your eyes and noticed that you had the blanket. Draco was gone, and your niffler was sleeping in your lap.

"Draco?" You said softly but noone answered. You woke (n/n), who moved to the couch, and got up. You made your way up to your common room. Sam and Kathy were sitting at the table closest to the fireplace.

"Where were you?" Sam asked as you walked into the room. You smiled.

"I couldn't sleep, so I went for a walk and ended up in the old classroom, I told you about. Draco's been calling it the star room." You said sitting down between the two.

"What's been going on between you and my cousin?" Kathy asked. "He's been watching you a lot."

"I broke up with him at the beginning of the year. He's been trying to get on my good side all year. That's not going to happen as long as he's a jerk to people." You told her.

"Draco pulled me aside a few days ago." Kathy said. "He seemed to think you didn't want to go home."

"I don't." You said as if it was a fact from a text book.

"Then where do you plan on going? I doubt you want to spend the summer with Draco, if your still mad at him." Sam asked.

"I'll end up at home, though I don't want to go." You said coldly.

"You seem upset." Sam point out. You nodded.

"Draco's on my mind again. He can't even stay out of my thoughts." You said and walked up to your dorm room. You layed on your bed thinking about Draco again. Way had he just covered you up and leave? You had hoped he would at least want to talk about last night. You rolled over to face away from the door.

The school year was over. You would have to go home. Draco lived next door. A few minutes for a walk, and you could be on his door step again. Did you want to do that all over again? Why couldn't Draco just be the person you saw in the summer? Why did he have to change into a version of himself that hurt others during the school year? You got up a while later and joined the rest of the school in the Great Hall. You ate breakfast and headed out for the last Hogsmeade trip of the year. Again, your friends disappeared leaving you behind. You sat in front of the Three Broom Sticks, drinking a glass of butterbeer, when you saw Draco, Perkinson, Crabbe and Goyle across the street. Perkinson broke away to come tease you. You rolled your eyes as she started in.

"All alone, (l/n)?" She said in a mocking drawl. "You don't seem to have any friends left. You poor poor thing." Her tone truned to a fake sympathy. You ignored her, taking another drink, as if she wasn't there. Draco walked up behind her.

"Where are your friends?" Draco asked curiously.

"Sam and Sebastian or probably on a date, they dateing now, and Kathy is most likely with her boyfriend." You answered Draco with a smile. He sat down across from you.

"Draky?! What are you doing?" Perkinson asked shocked that he would dare join you.

"I'm sitting with my friend." He said, trunning to face her. "If you don't like it, leave." This shocked you. Perkinson was his friend too.

"Don't be like that Draco, I'm fine." You told him. "Don't be so cold to your friends."

"His girlfriend." Perkinson corrected you. You looked at her then back at Draco.

"Don't be cold to your girlfriend." You said. Draco's eyes flickered and stayed seated.

"I'm sirius, Draco. I'm ok, you don't have to sit with me." You told him.

"She doesn't want you around Draky, she doesn't like you anymore. Will you please just leave her alone" Perkinson said.

"Your wrong." You said matter of factly. Her eyes shot to you, so did Draco's. "I care about Draco. In fact, I care to much sometimes. The only reason I stay away from him, is because it hurts me to be around him. I care about your boyfriend more then you will ever know." You were standing and walking towards her by this time. "You will never understand how I feel. You think that because your a pureblood you can say what you like? Well ask Draco? He'll tell you my thoughts about that." You truned to sit back down but stopped walking after a few steps. You truned back to face her. "Oh and don't call Draco 'Draky' he doesn't like it." You walked back and sat down.

Draco's pov

The whole time you spoke to Perkinson, Draco watched you in awe. As you sat back down, he looked at you with a smirk. He wanted to jump over the table and kiss you.

"I can call him what I like. You're just jealous because you didn't come up with a nickname for him." Perkinson said, pulling Draco from his thoughts.

"Pansy, that's enough. Just take Crabbe and Goyle and go do something without me for once." Draco said.

Your pov

"Draco, you don't have to stay here." You said again, as if you didn't just go off on his girlfriend. "I'm fine."
