About an hour passed sence you left Sam's cabin. You were still sitting alone and was expecting Draco to come find you soon, but when the door to the caparment opened, it wasn't Draco.

"Hay (l/n)," Granger said. "Do you know why Malfoy wasn't in the prefect meeting?" You looked at her confused.

"What? He went to the prefect meeting." You said, confused. "What are you talking about?" She and Weasley walked in and shut the door behind them.

"He wasn't there." Weasley said.

"What do you mean? Draco wouldn't have missed that, it gives him power to do stuff that others can't." You looked out the window. "He told me that he was going that way before he left me to find my friends." You replied. "Was Perkinson there?" You asked looking at the two of them as they both nooded. "Well, that's strange." You said, with a hint of worry in your voice, and stood up. "I wonder what's going on. How long ago did the meeting end?"

"A while ago." Weasley said.

"We've already went to find Harry." Granger added. "Who is now with Professor Slughorn."

"Who?" You asked but before they could answer you waved the question away. "Never mind. If Draco didn't attend the meeting, he's probably got a good excuse."

"We think Malfoy is up to something." Granger said rudely. "We thought you might know what it is."

"Harry thinks he's up to something." Weasley corrected Granger.

"What do you think he's up to?" You ask the two of them.

"Well..." Granger said looking back at you.

"Is Malfoy a Death Eater like his father." Weasley asked. You looked at him like he was nuts.

"I highly doubt that." You lied, in a half laugh. "He knows how much I hate Death Eaters. He wouldn't become one."

"Are you sure." Granger asked in her 'I know everything' tone of voice.

"I'm sure. He knows it would upset and anger me if he was hiding something like that from me." You said back in the same tone. "So yeah, I'm sure he knows how much I hate them."

"Well, he might be hiding it from you. We saw him in Diagon Alley in madam malkins." Granger said.

"And he called Hermione a 'mudblood.' Weasley added. "So Harry I both drew our wands."

"I told them it wasn't worth a fight." Granger said. "But Malfoy egged them on, saying 'yeah. You wouldn't want to do magic outside of school.' Then he asked me how I got a black eye, he wanted to send them flowers..."

"Black eye?" You asked.

"Yeah, I was playing with a few things  Fred and Gorge left of the borrow and  one of their trick gags punched me." She answered with a 'never mind that' attitude.

"Then I guess would be sending them the flowers." You said.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." She said smiling. "But any ways, that started a whole thing. Narcissa joined in telling us if we threaten her son, it would be the last thing we do. Then she said 'I see that being Dumbledore's favorite  has given you a false sense of security Harry potter but Dumbledore won't always be there to protect you.' Harry retaliate with 'Wow, look at that. He's not here now, so why not have a go? They might be able to find you a double cell in Azkaban with your loser of a husband.' That made Malfoy angry. 'Don't you dare talk to my mother like that Potter!' He said. His mother then told him, 'I expect Potter will be reunited with dear serious before I am reunited with Lucius.' Well in the end Madam Malkin, just doing her job, got slaped by malfoy because she wanted to fix his left sleave. It looked like malfoy was hidding something on his arm." Granger rambled on. "Then later, we fallowed him into Knocktrun Alley.
He went into Borgin and Burkes  and wanted to know how to fix something. When the clerk said he couldn't fix everything, Malfoy showed the Clerk his left arm and got what he wanted. Then he told the clerk to hold onto something and not to tell anyone, not even Malfoy's mom." Granger said. "So, how do you know he's not hidding anything?"

The truth was, he was a Death Eater, and you knew it. There was something he was hiding, but you knew that too. He had already informed you of all this. He said he had to hide it from you because it was all top secret. But what did he want fixed, and what did he want thenclerk to gold to for him?

"I'm not his brain, now am I?!" You snapped. You weren't angry with them, more with Draco, for using the trem 'mudblood' again when they were in Madame Malkins. "I just have to trust that he's not lieing to me, and I DO trust him. You may not, BUT I do." You walked to the door and truned back to face them. "Besides, why are you integrating me?" Before they had the chance to answer, you opened the door and left.

You walked down the corridor and heard Draco's voice come from one of the rooms. You walked up and was going to open the door when you saw Perkinson. She was leaning on Draco's shoulder, holding his hand and playing with his hair. And what made it all that much worse, was Draco wasn't stopping it. Your eyes watered a little. You whiped the tears and walked away.

"What was going on there?" You whispered to yourself. "Why is he letting her do that?"

You walked back to your carpartment, expecting to find Granger and Weasley there. You did, after all, just leave them there. When you arrived back, they were gone again. That didn't really bother you to much, you didn't really want to talk to them anyways. You sat down and waited in silence until the train stopped. You changed into your school robes and headed off with the other students.

You had to pass the caparment that Draco and his friends were in on your off the train. You spotted Draco shutting the caparment door with a huge grin. 'What's that grin for?' You thought.

"Draco." You called out and cought up with him.

"Oh hey." He replied. "There you are."

"There I am?" You asked sarcastically. "You didn't even come find me."

"Yes I did." Draco said, defensely.

"Don't lie to me." You said and walked pass him.

"Hey, I did." He fallowed you off the train. You ignored him and claimed into a caradge of second year Hufflepuffs. Once you got to the entrance hall, Filtch, the care taker, was scanning each student with a Sneakoscope and was telling them they weren't going to be able to take any dark objects into the school.

"And don't think about having the owls bring them in." Filtch sneared. "They're being checked too." You stood in line and watched as Crabbe got a shrunken head taken away. You got through the test and saw Draco walking towards you.

"Why are you so angry?" Draco asked sounding sincere. You took a deep breath.

"How did the perfect meeting go?" You asked him sweetly.

"It was normal." He said. "We didn't really have the much to talk about. Just the run thought for the new prefects."

"Oh, is that so?" You replied with a hint of sarcasm.

"Yeah..." Draco said feeling uneasy. "What does that have to do with your temper?"

"You didn't go." You said and walk off. "Don't lie to me, Draco." You were heading away from the Great Hall.

"(Y/n), the Great Hall is that way." Draco called after you. You didn't look back.

"I know very well where the Great Hall is." You called back, while walking. "I'm not hungry." You lied. You went to your dorm room and went to bed.
