"So what's going on with you and Sabastien?" You asked Sam.
"Oh... that." Sam sighed. "Well, I spent the summer with him at his house. I told him I wanted to spend some time doing something other than reading and learning. That's what we did all summer. All Sabastien thought about was the N.E.W.Ts"
"I see." You said looking at Draco, smiling. Draco was smiling back at you.
"What is so funny?" Sam demanded.
"We've spent all summer sitting in the Malfoy Manner library, reading old journals." Draco said.
"What for?" Sam asked. You looked at Draco then at Sam before explaining the curse that was placed on your blood lines and how you were trying to find out more information.
"We are hoping to find out what we can from the library at the school." You finished with.
"That's what we were actually talking about when you arrived." Draco added.
"That's a lot." Sam said, looking overwhelmed.
The three of you spent a few minutes talking before Sam left, to go find a few of her other friends. Which left you and Draco sitting alone only for Perkinson, Crabb and Goyle to enter the capartment a few seconds later.
"What was the mudblood doing here?" Perkinson ask Draco.
"That's none of your concern." You said annoyed.
"Why do you let her talk to me like that Dracky..." Perkinson started but stopped when she saw the look Draco was giving her.
"I don't control her." Draco answered. Crab and Goyle sat down, looking at each other. They looked like they were expecting a fight to break out. "(Y/n) has every right to say what's on her mind." Draco went on.
"How rude!" Perkinson spat. "After all I've done..."
"All you've done?" Draco asked her. "What have you done for me?"
"I..."
"That's right, irritate me to no end." Draco said calmly and looked back at you.
"Aaah!!!" Perkinson yelled and stormed off mumbling something.
"Goyle, shut the door." Draco said and Goyle did as he was told.
"Now that I have you here," Draco said seriously. "I can fill you in."
"Fill us in on what?" Crabb asked.
"A few days go, the Death Eaters all met up. Remember?" Draco said quietly. "As I've already told you, I'm part of them now." The two boys looked at each other before looking back at Draco. "And I told you I would fill you in. Do you still want to know what happened?" Crabb and Gyole nodded.
"But I'm sure you already know." Crabb said to you. You shook your head.
"No. I don't have a clue. I just know that Snape and Yaxley came. I saw them walking down the drive."
"Yeah right." Goyle said under his breath.
"Stop it." Draco told the two boys. "She knows nothing. I couldn't tell her at the manner. That's why you don't know either!" Draco was loosing his patience with them.
"What happend, Draco?" You asked.
"I'll start with the fact that Snape and Yaxley were running late so the Dark Lord was growing angry. The muggle studies professor, Charity Burbage, was floating above the table when they entered the room. The Dark Lord told them to sit and Snape started telling him that The Order of the Phenix was moving Potter and then him and Yaxley started arguing over the date." Draco said fast. "Then somehow it turned into talk of the Ministry take over. After that, The Dark Lord took my father's wand and asked, 'What is it about my presence in your home that displeases you?' Draco quoted.
"Wait." You interrupted. "He's been there on and off since he came back." You pointed out.
"Yup, anyways," Draco said and went on. "After he asked his question, Aunt Bellatrix, said it was an honor to have him there. That's when The Dark Lord mentioned that Lupin and a disowned niece of my my mom and aunts got married."
"Lupin as in Professor Lupin?" Crabb asked. Draco nodded.
"Then at some point, The Dark Lord woke Burbage up. She begged Snape for help. The Dark Lord gave a speech about how smhe taught muggle studies before killing her. He told his pet snake, Nagini, to eat her and the snake did. It made my stumic trun."
"That explains why you didn't want to talk about it after words." You said. "That's messed up."
"In any case, Potter was moved like Snape said. A handful of Death Eaters accompanied The Dark Lord. They were gone for a while before they returned, some of which had been killed by Potter's patrol. I was told that they had a diversion of seven Potter's going in different directions. But our side wasn't they only side who was injured. Snape was able to hit one of the Weasley twins, severing his ear from his head and Mad-eye Moody was killed." Draco spoke fast. "The Dark Lord managed to find Potter but he got away. He was with Hagrid. But I didn't see Potter or his friends on the train with us."
"Well, they are seventeen." Crabb said. "They probably appreciated to Hogsmead."
"Yeah, we wanted to." Goyle piped up, in a whine voice. "But our parents told us that wasn't a good idea with sacrity being so tight."
"This is our last year at Hogwarts." You reminded them. "Just enjoy the ride." Draco nodded and the carpartment fell quite for several minutes before the silence was broken.
"With Dumbledore dead, I wonder who's taking over as headmaster." You said quietly, looked out the window.
"Don't know." Draco replied just as quickly. He was watching the land outside pass by also. You expected Crabb or Goyle to speak. When neither did you looked around the capartment.
"Um, Draco?" You said, confused. "When did your friends leave?"
"No idea." Draco said looking around too. "Guess they got board." You moved to sit beside him. "It's our last here." Draco said softly and slipped his hand into yours. You laid you head on his shoulder.
"It is. Remember the first time we rode the train?" You asked, rolling over so you had your feet on the seat and used Draco as a leaning post.
