You looked at Draco, as he stood there glaring at his father. You kissed his check. Draco looked down at you.
"What was that for?" He asked.
"You told them I was your girlfriend." You said, kissing him on the lips.
"Well, you are. Aren't you?" He sounded unsure.
"If you want me to be." You said hugging him. "I missed you, Draco."
"I missed you too, my Hufflepuff Princess." He replied hugging you back.
"Hey, I finally found you." You heard the voice of Kathy. You truned around to look at her.
"I figured you went to find him." She said, smiling at you and Draco. "Mom sent me to find you. She says dinner will be ready soon and for you to come back." You truned back to Draco.
"I'll see you later." You said before he kissed you. He let you go and you fallowed Kathy back to your camp.
Later that night, after everyone was in a deep sleep, you snuck outside. You were sitting on a stump just outside the tent, when you spotted Perkinson and Draco. You crept closer to hear what they were talking about.
"But Draky." Perkinson whined.
"I told you to leave me alone!" Draco said in frustration.
"She's nothing. She's not even from a well known family or has any kind of status like my family does. Why do you like her?" She said in a snobbish tone. Draco ignored her and tryed to walk off. Perkinson chased after him. "You know I'm the perfect fit for you."
"Your annoying." Draco sighed. You watched the two of them stand there for a minute in silence. You crept back to your stump.
The sky was so clear. You layed down on the ground to look up at the stars. You must have dozed off, because you felt something worm drap over you and it woke you up.
"I didn't mean to wake you." Draco said sitting down next to you as you sat up. You realized it was his jacket that covered you. You pulled it from your lap and draped it over your shoulders.
"What are you doing here?" You said sleepily as you leanded into him.
"I couldn't sleep, so I went for a walk." He said wrapping an arm around your waist. "I ran into Perkinson on my walk though." He spoke with a hint of annoyance.
"Yeah I heard you guys earlier," You said softly trying to stay awake. "You and her seemed to be arguing about something."
"You heard us?" He said shocked looking down at you. You looked up at him and nodded. "I'm sorry you had to hear us arguing."
"What where you fighting about." You asked laying you head on his shoulder.
"You." He said. "She's upset that I broke up with her to go out with you again."
"That would upset any girl." You sat up. "Girls don't like being dump for another." You tryed not to sound like you agreed with Perkinson but you did understand why she was upset. Draco didn't say anything for a while. The two of you sat next to each, looking at the night sky in silence.
"This summer has been crazy." Draco said out of nowhere. You looked at him.
"This year has been." You said. "But I know what you mean. I've been trying to tell you something all summer and everytime I get the chance, it's taken away." You told him.
"What's that?" Draco asked.
"How I feel." You leaned in and kissed him.
"Don't say it." Draco said. "I don't want to know." You leaned back and gave him a shocked expression.
"Now that's not fair." You said a little upset. "You tell me all the time you love me, but I don't get to tell you how I feel?" You were half way yelling.
"Don't get upset." Draco said pulling back a little.
"Don't tell me to not get upset!" You yelled. "I have the right to be upset! Why on earth would you not want to know?!" You asked, yelling at him.
"Please, calm down." Draco said trying to get you to be quiet. "People are sleeping."
"Answer me!" You said harshly but stoped yelling. It was too late though. Kathy had stepped out of the tent with Sam. You staired at Draco waiting for an answer. He just sat there. "Well!?"
"I...I..." his eyes shot to your freinds then back at you.
"Never mind!" You said, getting up and storming off inside the tent, after shoving his jacket into his hands.
Draco's pov
You had just gone inside the tent. Draco sat there dumbfounded. Were you really mad at him because he didn't want you tell him how you felt? He looked at the tent you were in like it was something that would have killed him if he went in after you.
"What did you do?" Kathy asked him.
"I just told her I didn't want to know what she's been trying to tell me all summer." Draco said timidly, slowly moving his eyes from the tent to his cusion, then stood up. Kathy and Sam both rolled their eyes.
"You don't know girls at all, do you?" Sam asked him.
"Stay out of it, mudblood." Draco spat at her.
Your pov
You could hear Draco and your friends outside, and him calling Sam a 'mudblood' made your blood boil. You walked back out of the tent and straight up to Draco.
"Now he's done it." Kathy whispered to Sam.
"How dare you!" You spoke slowly. "You haven't changed, not even a little!" You slapped him. Draco stumbled back. "You deserved that!" You truned back to your friends. "Come on." You told them as you stormed back inside.
"(Y/n)!" Draco begged. You stopped at the door.
"What!?" You said coldly not truning back.
"Are you mad because of what I said to you or what I called your friend?" He asked. You sighed and shoock your head, before walking inside.
"Sam, you better go inside with (y/n). My cousin and I need to talk." Kathy told Sam, who fallowed you inside.
Draco's pov
"Let's walk." Kathy said, grabbing Draco's arm and pulling him along.
"I'm such an idiot." Draco said to himself.
"That's for sure." Kathy said letting go of Draco. "Do you have any idea how much she cares about you?" Draco didn't answer. "She's been trying to tell you she loves you all summer."
"I know." Draco cut her off.
"Then why wont you let her tell you that?" Kathy questioned him.
"I don't want to hurt her when I do something that makes her hate me." Kathy was flabbergasted. "I know I will do something. I'm not the nicest person. She deserves someone better then me." Draco said plopping down on a random log.
"She loves you; although, I don't understand why." Kathy said sitting next to him. "Don't you think this hurts her?" Draco looked at his cousin. "She got mad at you because you hurt her. Then you made her even more angry when you used the word 'mudblood'."
"How do I fix this?" He asked sighing.
"I can't tell you that, Draco. You have to talk to her." Kathy said standing, then truned to face Draco. "If you truly love her, then try to understand where she's comming from. (Y/n) truly loves you, and even though you are the school bully, and you do and say things that should make her hate you, she doesn't. She sees the Draco Malfoy most people never get the chance to meet." Kathy left Draco sitting there while she walked back to the tent.
"She's not gonna want to talk to me after I called Sam the one word she hates the most." Draco said sadly to himself.
