After spending the next hour covering his neck tattoo and giving him a whole new haircut, it was time for the reveal. I was so nervous at what he was going to say and think of his new makeover. I was actually a fan of his long hair and that tattoo, which made him look dark and mysterious, but he looked so good right now that I'm couldn't barely recognize him. He was always handsome, but this new haircut really suited him well.

"Soooo are you ready to see yourself?"

Then I came to the realization of something that totally didn't cross my mind. I had so many things on my mind that I didn't know how I was even able to think straight, but this couldn't have been something I forgot about.

"Phil!!! You can't go visit Jake with your ID. They will know it's you no matter how much I changed your look. I can't believe I forgot about that. There is no time for anything right now. We are totally screwed!"

"Relax! I already took care of that. I'm actually meeting with someone about that as soon as I leave here. Don't ask how or who. Let's just say I have friends who do some interesting jobs."

"Phil, you're a lifesaver!"

"I'm a lot smarter than you give me credit for, you know."

He really was! I was so glad that he wasn't as lost and clueless as I was. Things were so much easier with Jake around because he took care of things I had no idea how to do. I wasn't born for this kind of stuff. I wanted to get as many things done as possible, but it was nearly impossible to think of every single detail without missing anything. Especially not with someone breaking into my house and with Jake in jail. I was surprised I was thinking straight at all.

"Can I see my new style now?" asks Phil.

"Yes, absolutely. I really hope you like it."

He goes to the restroom and looks in the mirror and seems shocked by what he sees. I can't tell from his reaction if we were happy or just shocked.

"Sooooo... what do you think?"

"This is amazing. I love it, even though I can hardly recognize myself. But you are so talented. Wow."

"Thank you. What can I say, I'm a woman of many talents, hehe."

We go back to the living room and I look at my phone and see that it's a little before twelve o'clock. I decided to give Richy a call and see how he is doing. But before I call him I talk to Phil.

"Okay, so you're going to get the ID from here, right?"

"Yeah, I already made plans to meet up with him soon. Plus, I have to run to Arora and take care of a couple of things."

"Okay, great. Just make sure to be done before two. I am going to leave a little before two so I can meet Alan. Here's what I need from you, and please make sure you ask exactly what I am telling you."

"Whatever you need. Just tell me what you want me to do."

"Jake is not going to be happy to see you, especially once he finds out that I sent you. We both know how he feels about you. So ease him into it. Tell him that I want him to listen carefully since I didn't have much time. Once you convince him of that, I need you to ask him about our text message conversations. Tell him this; "She has been going over your texts and noticed the messages you've been sending her. She is aware of everything and wants to know what to look for. She misses you and wants you to know that she will not give up on you and will wait for you as long as needed.""

"Okay, so let me get this straight... you want me to go visit Jake so you can talk about your text messages with him?"

"Phil, I promise I will explain everything once you come back. I don't have time to go into details right now. Just do as I say. Please!"
