In The Blink Of An Eye

I rushed to the bedroom and changed my clothes. I felt free without all that makeup and hair and that huge wedding dress on. Don't get me wrong, I loved every single minute of it but man it was a lot. I felt like I had put on an extra ten pounds just in the dress alone. Do I need to  explain how hard it was going to the restroom with that dress on? My God, it was nearly impossible!!! Did I ever mention how much easier it is being a man? Well if I didn't I'm telling you right now. Men get up and get ready in fifteen minutes on a good day. No make-up, hair extensions, bra, corset, heels, heavy dresses, and not to mention having to hold in their pee for hours at a time because taking the dress off is a mission of its own. Oh and then on top of all that we can't forget those annoying eyelashes they glue on our eyes that feel like bird wings flapping every time we close our eyes. That's not even going into the other things women have to go through. Can you imagine any male having a menstrual cycle every single month? God forbid! The whole country would shut down every time a man got his period. Oh and if we have to rely on men giving birth our whole population would have been extinct like the dinosaurs a long, long, long time ago. 

No hate for men or anything but really… like come on. 

Have you ever seen a male with the flu? They act like the end of the world is coming. You'd think that the angel of death had come to take their souls by the way they act. Talk about being dramatic, that, they were. 

"Madisyn, are you okay??? You've been in there for an hour" shouted Silas. 

For an hour? See what I mean?? Just dramatic!

I've been here for less than ten minute and he's acting like I've been here just hiding for an hour. All I did was get dressed and according to him I've apparently been sowing my own clothes. 

"I'm here, are you happy now?" 

"I am! It's weird being without you." 

"Silas don't start acting weird hehe." 

"Hehehe okay okay fine. Today was some day huh?"

"Oh man, don't even mention it. It's been crazy!"

"It really has both for you and I." 

"Speaking of, I can't believe you're going to be a dad. Have you even talked to Candace?"

"I tried calling her but she's mad. I haven't seen her since she walked off. Wait...you don't think that Jake and Candace…"

"What? That they are together??" 

"I mean it's not impossible. They both vanished soon after each other and none of them have been seen since." 

"Silas! You don't think they are together now, right?" 

"Why not? We're together, aren't we?"

"It's different!!!"

"How? What is different between them and us?" 

"The fact that we didn't date for three years!" 

"No we didn't date but that doesn't mean that we didn't have feelings for each other. We even had sex. So really, there is no difference." 

"Yeah but I don't know anything about her or what she is capable of doing. Jake knows you and he knows that you wouldn't do anything to break us up." 

"There is nothing she can do that will make Jake do something to break you two up. If he does anything it's because he wanted to not because she did."

"I honestly don't want to think about that right now. I have enough on my mind as it is." 

"Hey can I ask you something?"
