Worst Mistake

I wondered if they were talking about something I wasn't supposed to know or if they knew it was something that would upset me and ruin my night. Whatever it was, it was going to have to wait because I didn't want to know anything now. I deserved one good day where something or someone didn't ruin it. 

"So...who is ready to drink?" I asked. 

"The first drink is yours, you deserve it. You did a wonderful job during your training and you need to celebrate" said Silas. 

Viktor handed me a glass of drink and I looked at them and smiled. 

"Here is to a new life and whatever challenges may be thrown my way. I am ready to face them all."

"Cheers" they both said at once. 

Viktor, Silas and I sat, talked and laughed for about two hours. I couldn't believe how fast the time had flown by. It's really true what they say that time flies by when you're having a good time. It was around two in the morning when Viktor left us and went to get some sleep. I think he was a bit more tipsy than sleepy but either way he probably couldn't wait to hit his bed and fall asleep. After Viktor left, Silas and I were alone in the living room. We were no longer drinking, we just sat and talked. 

"I'm proud of you. I really am. I'm so glad that you accepted the training, you did amazing" exclaimed Silas.

"Thank you so much for doing that for me. I appreciate it" I replied. 

"The last thing I would ever want is for something to happen to you."

"I know, thank you."

"She's right, you know?"

"Who's right? What do you mean?"

"Lilli. She's right about my feelings towards you."

"Wait...are you serious? Silas, I'm sure you're drunk."

"I'm not drunk, I've always felt that way about you. If the situation was any different I wouldn't wait a minute to make you mine."

"But...I…"

"I know, you're with Jake but I can't help the way I feel about you. Every time I'm around you all I want to do is grab you and make love to you."

"Silas!!!" 

"Tell me that you don't feel the same way! Tell me that you don't feel this tension between us and that you don't want me just as bad as I want you and I will never mention it again."

"I...I'm…I just…"

He didn't even wait to see what I was going to say. He looked at me and leaned in for a kiss. 

I know you're thinking that I pushed him off and told him to never let that happen again and I would have loved to tell you that I did...but I didn't! 

I don't know what the fuck I was thinking or how I could allow for such a thing to happen, but I didn't even try to stop it. I don't know if it was the fact that we were both enjoying the freedom and the fun or if the alcohol was kicking in, I just let it happen.

As you can imagine one kiss led to another one and then that kiss led to a deeper and more passionate kiss and next thing you know we were full on making out. My mind was screaming NO but my body was saying YES in every possible way. I wanted to stop but with each kiss my body wanted him more and more. It's as if something had come over me and I had lost all control of my body. Silas began to touch me all over my body slowly sliding his hand inside my shirt. The minute I felt his hand on my naked body, I lost it. 

If someone had told me that this would be the day I make one of the biggest and most heartbreaking decisions of my life...I wouldn't have believed it.
