Once we arrived at the house my dad came outside and hugged me. He immediately started crying when he saw me. I mean who wouldn't have. Knowing how the news worked, they probably made the whole situation ten times worse than it already was.

Jake, my dad, Silas and I all went inside the house. We were quiet so we wouldn't wake up Lilli because the last thing I wanted right now was for her to see me like this. I needed to talk to Silas alone but I didn't want Jake to feel jealous or anything so I looked at him and said,

"Do you mind if I talk to Silas alone for a minute? I need to ask him something. I promise it's just that and nothing else."

"Yeah that's fine. You didn't have to ask me, I trust you."

"I know but I didn't want you to think it was something that it wasn't."

"Go ahead, I'll be here with your dad."

I got up and walked over to Silas who was sitting on the other side of the living room talking on the phone with someone. When he saw me coming he picked a finger up to show me "one minute". I waited for him to finish and once he was done he looked at me and smiled.

"What's up?" He asked.

"Can I talk to you outside for a minute?"

"Is everything okay?"

"Yeah I just have something I want to ask you."

We both walked outside as my dad and Jake stayed behind. This was my dad's first time meeting Jake and it was under these circumstances. This was really not the way I wanted for them to meet but I couldn't do anything about it, it was what it was.

"What did you want to ask me?"

"I didn't tell you but the other day I received a call from...you know...him. He said that someone was going to pay the price. Also, my sister has been talking to a guy that she has never met but she's completely in love with. Guess when he is meeting her for the first time...this weekend."

"Is she crazy? That's clearly a set up."

"Yeah, I know that and you know that but she doesn't want to believe it. She thinks I am just trying to get in the way of her dating because I have "bad luck" with men as she said."

"I do not like the sound of this at all. She doesn't know how much danger she is in."

"Well...that's what I wanted to talk to you about. I am going to visit her, well...we are Jake and I. If anybody can help me track her and catch his guy...it's him. I begged him not to go and to stay here but it would be easier to convince MWAF to leave me alone than to convince Jake not to go with me. "

"You're going to go all the way over there? But what if someone crashes you first?"

"Silas I can't just sit around and do nothing, it's my sister we're talking about and she is clearly in danger."

"Okay so how can I help?"

"Well...I was wondering if Lilli can stay with you until I come back. My dad is older and Lilli is very active, so I don't want him to have to run around her. Plus, Lilli loves you and you're the only person I trust around her."

"Of course. Why would you even have to ask me that? I love Lilli and she can stay with me whenever she wants. Plus Viktor is there too, she will have a great time with us."

"Thank you so much Silas, honestly from the bottom of my heart. I just have to do this. I can't let anything happen to my sister."

"I understand. I'll pick Lilli up tomorrow night, how does that sound?"
