The Fight

I got out of bed and began to walk out of the door as Viktor followed me. The whole ride home we were both quiet. I know Viktor wanted to ask me a thousand questions but he also knew that I wasn't going to answer none so he just drove me back home. As much as I was looking forward to getting home, I knew that Silas would be there with just as many questions and comments. 

As I walked through the house door, I saw Silas and my daughter. Lilli ran up to me and jumped into my arms while I hugged her in a way I had never hugged her before. I was so sure that I would never get the chance to hug her again so I cherished every second of it. I looked up and saw Silas standing there in front of me. I thought he was going to start nagging about how I needed to slow down and how I needed to stop stressing and blah blah blah but, he didn't. He just looked at me with a serious face and I could see the anger in his eyes. I figured it was because of what I had done to myself and how much I let all this get to me until he spoke. 

"Someone is here to see you," he said. 

"What? Who??"

"Go to your room and you'll see" 

He came up close to me and whispered in my ear for Lilli and Viktor not to hear. 

"Lilli doesn't know, she was playing outside when he showed up, so I would appreciate it staying that way."  

What the hell was he talking about? Why was he acting like Lilli was his daughter and he had all say of what goes on in her life. I don't know what part of me fucking him made him think that he had the right to tell me what to do or not do with my own daughter. 

Okay I was being dramatic and rude as hell but I was so pissed off at him. I come home from the hospital and instead of being happy to see me and to ask me how I'm feeling he is all mad and shit because of someone who came to visit me. Wow!!!

As soon as I opened my bedroom door, I understood why Silas was acting the way he was. 

"Jake? What the hell are you doing here?" I asked.

"I came to see you. I heard you were in the hospital and I was worried." 

"We're not even in Duskwood anymore. I don't understand how you find this information out so fast." 

"Some things never change, do they?" 

"Yeah, I guess not. Thank you for visiting but I'm doing great."

"Are you with him?" He asked. 

"What? No! Where are you getting that from?" 

"He wasn't very happy to see me. But I guess I wouldn't be either if I was screwing you and some other man showed up to the house." 

"Jake!!! That's enough."

Just when I was about to speak Silas showed up in the room. He looked at me, looked at Jake and looked right back at me. He was mad as hell. I honestly haven't seen this side to Silas and I have to say now it made sense why he called himself "darkness". 

"I believe it's time for you to go. Madisyn needs to rest" said Silas. 

"She's just fine with me here. She can rest. I'll take good care of her." 

"I got it but thanks. Now, time for you to go."

"I'm not leaving anywhere without her. If I can't stay here then she is coming with me" continued Jake. 

"I don't think she needs you. In fact she was doing great in my bed this morning."

Jake jumped out of bed and punched Silas straight in the face. Before I even knew it, they were in a huge fight.
