He looked so sad... He was in this stupid ass hospital bed, in pain, and suffering because of me. Having to go to the hospital myself was one thing I managed no matter how hard and frustrating it was but, seeing the people you love in hospital beds was something that never got any easier. As soon as I saw Jake laying in that bed it brought me back to Silas and when he got shot.

Speaking of Silas, I'm pretty sure we were all over the news and he was at home watching it having a total panic attack and he wasn't even able to call me because my phone was God knows where. I had prayed to God my dad was too busy with Lilli and watching cartoons with her that he didn't have the time to turn on the news and watch it. Because if he did, I couldn't even imagine how scared he was.

I took one last breath and walked closer to the bed where Jake was.

"Jake?" I said softly.

He turned his head around so fast when he heard my voice and immediately sat up.

"Whoa slowly, don't get up so fast you're going to hurt yourself" I continued.

"Madisyn!!!" He said with tears in his eyes.

He was about to get up out of bed before I stopped him.

"Hey no no, sit down. I'll come to the other side and sit next to you. You don't get up."

"I am so sorry. Instead of helping you and making sure that you were okay and not scared, I was no help at all. I felt you all alone."

"Are you crazy? What are you talking about?? Don't think like that, you didn't leave me."

"How are you? Are you in pain?" He asked.

"I'm okay ,just a couple of scrapes and cuts, nothing that won't go away. How are you?"

"I'm doing good. I'm not in any pain so that's a good thing right?"

"I'm sure it's just the pain medication talking hehe."

"Hehe yeah most likely. But, all in all...we're doing amazing compared to how..."

"Don't even mention it. Every time I think about what could have happened I feel like I am going to pass out."

"I just want to get out of here and go find your sister. Who knows what kind of danger she is in."

"Jake! My sister, omg!!!"

"Don't worry, she is going to be okay. But I have a very strong feeling this happened to us so that we wouldn't go and help your sister out."

When he said that I froze.

The MWAF knew I would figure out that my sister was the one in danger and he knew that I would immediately want to go and help her so, to make sure that doesn't happen...he found a way to distract us and make me think that it was Jake who was in danger and not my sister.

"I have to go to her. I have to go and help my sister out. We only had three days and now I only have two..."

"You? You mean we right?" Asked Jake.

"You're not coming with me. I am going alone" I said.

"You must be crazy if you think I am going to let you go alone."

"Well you don't have a choice. I nearly watched you die today so I am definitely not taking a risk for him to finish what he started."

Just as Jake was about to respond a doctor walked in and interrupted him.

"Hi Jake, how are you feeling?"

"I'm okay. I don't feel any pain yet so it's good."

"And you must be..."
