We went back home as we held hands and when we walked in, everyone was just looking at us.

"We're good guys, don't worry. He's not going anywhere. I won't let him, even if he tries."

"I wasn't thinking about leaving anywhere. I wouldn't, even if you let me."

"Okay you two lovebirds, go get a room already" shouted Dan.

My mom and dad walked up to the front and looked at Evan and I and said,

"We know you both have been through a lot. We also know you haven't had the chance to spend time with just the two of you. So, your friends and us have a little surprise we would like to share"

"Umm okay? What's going on?"

"Well, we know how much you both have gone through. MC, you haven't had a single day to actually enjoy with Evan. You have done nothing but always tried to help all of us, and you have. You have put yourself through hell and back for others, and we just want to show you how much we appreciate everything you have done" said Jessy.

"And Evan, you have made our friends' life better since you came into it. You helped her, protected her, stood by her side even when all the rest of us failed her. If it wasn't for you, I can honestly say, I don't think she would be where she is today, so we wanted to thank you for taking care of her while she was busy taking care of everyone else" exclaimed Richy.

"You guys, omg!! That was so sweet. Thank you guys so much. Great, I'm crying."

"Wow guys seriously. That was very kind and sweet. Thank you" replied Evan.

As he wiped away my tears, I saw Dan and Harley stand up.

"MC, I never had the chance or the proper way to say thank you. You have given me the best gift anybody ever could. You found a part of me that I knew was always missing, but even in my wildest dreams couldn't think of what. You found my sister that I never even knew I had. There is nothing I could ever do to repay you for that" stated Dan.

"And once again. MC, you listened. When nobody else would listen to me, you did. I trusted you from day one with everything. I told you how much I had dreamed of the day I would meet my brother, and you made that dream a reality. You didn't even have to bother, but that's who you are. I might not know you as long as everyone else does, but it doesn't take long for anybody to see how special you truly are" said Harley with tears in her eyes.

"I would agree, she is beyond special," said Evan.

Oh God now I was in full on tears crying my eyes out. I was not prepared mentally for all this. My heart felt like it was going to burst out of my chest with happiness. Next stood up Cleo and Phil and I knew what was about to happen, so I just sat down before I began to cry even harder.

"Where do I even start? Hannah was my best friend and when she went missing, I thought a part of my life had vanished that I would never get back. But then you came along. I can honestly say, if it wasn't for you and your determination, I would have never got my best friend back. You just never gave up, even when the rest of us would have and wanted to, you kept going. Now, not only do I have Hannah back but, I also made another friend for life, you MC. Thank you for everything, from the bottom of my heart" stated Cleo.

"Well well well, what can I say? You are truly and incredibly special. Not just to me, but to everyone who meets you and gets to love you. You have the most kind, caring, and loving soul I have ever seen, not to mention your heart of gold. It's not hard for anybody to see why exactly we all are so grateful to have you in our lives. You have changed every single one of us and taught us to be better people. We are all here, alive, well, and happy because of you. Thank you."
