"Dad, thank you so much for wanting to help me, but I already lost you once. I am not risking losing you again. I want you to stay here until I am ready to leave back home, then you are coming with me."

Before my dad could even respond, Viktor spoke. 

"You're dad is amazing at what he does. I know you're scared of losing him and I completely understand but you need to listen to him."

"At what he does?? What the hell is it that my dad does? Please tell me you're not into this hacking thing too."

He just looked at me and stayed quiet.

"Dad,no!!! You're not getting involved in any of this. I can handle this myself. I have people that are helping me. And what the hell is wrong with you Viktor? How could you even think to get my dad involved and into hacking? Fuck!!! I can't believe you guys!"

I was so frustrated and mad that all I wanted to do was scream. I couldn't stand the idea of my dad doing illegal shit! I knew damn well that was not the lifestyle my dad was supposed to be living, but he was...all because of me. If I hadn't got involved in all this none of us would be in the position we were in now. All I wanted to do was help find Hannah, I couldn't stand the fact knowing that she needed my help but not helping her. So, I did what any normal person would do, I helped her. If I had known that me wanting to help would cause so much heartache and trouble down the road, I would have never replied back to that message from Thomas. 

But...here we were. 

No matter how much I wanted to go back and change the past, I couldn't. All I could do now was face my present and think about my future, the future that I wanted to have. I hated that my dad was involved now but how can I blame him for wanting to help me? I helped a person I didn't even know so what made me think my own father was going to sit around and do nothing to help his own daughter? 

"Dad, I understand that you want to help and no matter how much I tell you that I don't want you to be a part of this I have a feeling that you won't listen. So...don't do anything until I need you to do something. I will need your help but you're going to have to wait for me to give you the sign to do so" I said. 

"I won't do anything without your knowledge and permission. I promise, the last thing I want to do is hurt you."

I went up to my dad and hugged him as hard as I could. I wanted to cherish every second of this hug because it was a hug I thought I would never get again in my life. I wish my mom was here too, but I knew that she was looking down right now and was extremely happy that my dad and I found each other. I couldn't wait for the day my siblings also found out that our father was alive. That was going to be a day I wanted to be alive and to be a part of. In order to do that, I had to go to the place where people were waiting for me. I had successfully completed one mission in China, now...I had another one to complete. 

Viktor and I left the house as I hugged my dad one more time. We walked towards the car and I waved goodbye to my dad. Even though this goodbye hurt me so badly I knew that it wasn't forever. I was going to see him again soon and we would finally get to be together and he would get to watch my daughter grow and be a part of her life. 

I closed the door and I felt a tear drop down my face. 

This was it...one of those moments that change who we are as people and that change our lives forever. 

I knew that I had one more mission to complete here, but...what that mission was I couldn't have ever imagined. This was going to be something that was going to either make me or break me, but I was willing to risk it all in order to try and get to the top.
