As some of the only remaining heroes, you and him created a fortress at the school and spend most days going into town to locate and save any remaining survivors as possible.

"Gotcha!" he smiled while catching you before you could fall by unstable debris.

"Thanks Midoriya..." you smiled while giving an exasperated sigh.

"You ok y/n?" he asked worryingly after seeing just how exhausted you looked.

"Huh? Oh yeah I'm good, come on there's still more survivors just west of here, if we hurry we can go and make it back before sundown..." you tried walking but Midoriya grabbed your arm.

"Y/n I'm serious, I'm starting to worry about you, you haven't been feeling well since all this started." he caressed your cheek.

"No one has, it's not exactly something everyone can adjust to Midoriya." you rolled you eyes and tried to walk away again but he caught you again.

"Y/n..."

"Quit wasting time!" you screamed.

"...you haven't been sleeping either..." he looked at you sympathetically.

"We try to save as many as we can...I can't imagine how many we couldn't get to in time...but you can...cant you?" he asked knowingly.

"..." your eyes widened as tears welled up.

"You've heard it all, their cries... their pleads...their screams...I can't imagine that kind of torture...I wouldn't be able to sleep either..." he wrapped his arms around you comfortingly.

"I'm so sorry... I haven't been able to help you...to be there for you..." he began I cry.

"It's ok Midoriya..." you tried to reassure. "We've all got a lot to deal with right now.."

"No it's not!" he cried, "when any of us goes back to the fortress we feel safe and can rest! But you can't! The nightmare never ends for you! And ever since you lost your headphones you probably haven't slept in weeks!" g
He rambled off.

"Midoriya!" you shouted, "its ok, I love that I can actually use my quirk to help people, thanks to people like us were slowly starting to save humanity, and being able to work alongside you is what makes it all worthwhile..." you smiled, "yeah I'm tired but it's nothing new...back when I lived with gran gran in the mountains I still head a bunch of stuff, and I don't need much sleep...if you wanna help me...then help me save people...ok?"

"...ok..." he sniffled and smiled.

And so the two of you continued to locate and rescue as many survivors as possible. Later onyou eventually did set some sleep thanks to Midoriya, he allowed you to sleep on top of his chest, allowing you to just focus on the sound of his heart.

"51!" cheered Bakugo after killing another zombie, "I win!"

You took out three more zombies that were about to sneak up on your boyfriend. All headshots, all went down with ease without you even trying from the comfort of atop an abandoned building.
