Sometimes you were just as oblivious as him when it came to certain things, flirting was one of them. 

"Hey y/n-" He stopped as you grabbed the lunch he brought for you. 

"Hey, Cinnabon." You smiled kissing his cheek and only taking a bite of the food, then went back to working on your class project. 

"Y-Your still working?" He asked in a daze after the light kiss you gave him. 

"Yeah, me and (project partner) been here all morning." You stretched taking off your welding mask to finally rest for a few minutes. You had been working for weeks in UA's labs nonstop working on a project for one of your classes. 

"Well, then where is he?" He asked skeptically. It was clear that your boyfriend didn't like your lab partner, not only was he your class's flirt, but he also had his eyes out for you. 

"Hey, there little guy!" Smiled your partner coming in after going on a lunch break. Even though he and Mydoriya were the same height, Your lab partner found many subtle ways to belittle your boyfriend. Because you were too engrossed in your project you'd never notice it, nor his persistent flirting with you. 

"We're the same height, but ok." Shrugged Midoriya.   

Yeah but I'm older." He smiled patting his back and walking over to you while you were working on the project. 

"Hey partner, how's the project going, I brought you some lunch." He smiled offering you food. 

"Its going great, If we keep going at this rate we'll be done by the end of the week." You smiled. "Oh and don't worry, Midoriya already brought me some food he made." You blushed taking another bite of the lunch he brought you. "It's super good too, you should try some."

"Uh, no thanks besides there's no way broccoli top made it, probably had his mommy make it." He laughed causing Midoriya's eye to twitch.

"Well, Ms. Inko's a good cook too, like mother like son I guess." You shrugged him off continuing to work. 

Smirking mockingly at your lab partner, Midoriya asked, "Hey y/n, since your busy today, you wanna come over to my house for dinner later?" You would usually go to his house and spend the night whenever it got too late because you lived a few towns over. 

"Aw, that sounds great, Cinnabon, but I think I'm gonna pull an all-nighter tonight," Yo said as you finished welding and picked up a wrench to tighten a few bolts. 

"Again?" He asked worriedly. "But it's like the third time this week."

"Listen, kid, we gotta lot of work to do." Smirked your lab partner putting his arm over Midorya's shoulder and leading him out, much to his annoyance. "She doesn't have time for your little tea parties, so get to class." Even though you and Midoriya were the same age, you skipped a grade due to your talents and recommendations from your grandfather and All Might.
