So, this one is going to be a little different. Both Thorin and Dwalin will have an OC pairing.

Hope you enjoy :)

The female dwarves stood back to back, both flushed, one holding a sword, the other a heavy axe.

"Well, what do you think? I'll take this half and you take the other?" The one with brown eyes said.

The other, her golden eyes locked on the orcs surrounding them, just snorts in agreement.

"Good to see you still have a lot to say." She laughs and then the battle begins.

Both were fast on their feet and even quicker with their weapons and the orcs didn't stand much of a chance, the two warriors knowing they had this battle in the palm of their hands.

What surprised all of them was when a group of male dwarves charged into the battle, and with the extra help, they quickly dispatched all the orcs.

"I have to say," The with the axe states, leaning heavily on it as she breathes. "That was not how I expected that to go."

The dwarves look a little confused by this as they stare between the two women, the other pulling her sword out of an orc and cleaning the blade across its body.

There was an awkward silence for a moment until a familiar looking wizard joined them, followed closely by a frightened looking hobbit.

The one with the axe beamed. "Gandalf! Such a wonderful surprise!"

Gandalf stared between them. "What on earth are you two doing out here?"

"Enjoying the scenery." She laughed, causing the dwarves to share stunned looks. "And this marvelous weather. It's just a dream Gandalf, wonderful for walking, just a shame about-"

"You two are meant to be keeping yourselves safe, not wandering the wilds!" He says angrily, still looking between them.

The one with the axe shrugs nonchalantly. "We figured we'd be pretty safe this close to Bree, it's not like we went intentionally looking for trouble-"

The one with the sword snorts again, causing most of the attention to turn to her.

"How come she doesn't talk?" The tall bald dwarf asks, eyeing her suspiciously.

"Because I only talk when necessary." She says, her voice quiet, her hands steady on her sword as she rests it on her shoulder. "Is that satisfactory?"

Gandalf cuts over Dwalin's retort. "I wouldn't worry about these two Dwalin, they are as friendly as they look."

The one with the axe gives a fake wounded gasp. "Now Gandalf, that's hardly playing fair! You are ruining our facade!"

Gandalf rolls his eyes as she bursts into laughter. "Yes, very funny Keeva, you are doing marvelous job in showing that you are a fierce warrior." He looks at the other one. "Veera is doing a much better job at that."

"Well, she always is the overly serious one." Keeva still grins widely and then decides to give an over the top bow. "Well gentlemen, I thank you for your services. I, the mighty axe wielding warrior, am Keeva, and the golden eyed beauty holding the sword, is my sister, Veera." Veera rolls her eyes. "But I think it's time we got moving again, it's pretty apparent we've been here too long already."

But it was clear that Gandalf had other ideas.

"You two are not going anywhere until I get an explanation as to why you are out here." He says sternly. "And no joking." He looks at Veera, knowing he will get a proper answer from her.
