part 20

after we hung out a little bit more on our way back to Alvaros house i decided to call Hailey and ask if she wanted to hang out with us
Y: hey babe you wanna come over with me and alvaro
Hai: sure let me just find some pajamas and i'll be on my way
Y: ok see you there
i hang up and put my feet in alvaros lap even though he's driving and he lets me keep them there while we're just playing music and singing and talking then silence came on and it took me back to the time where i played this when my dad first left me and my mom, i haven't seen him in 5 years because he left when i was 11, i took my feet off alvaro and just looked out the window crying and not talking the rest of the way then once we pulled into the driveway i went straight in his house and on his bed covering my face
Varo: what's wrong y/n
Y: nothing im fine
Varo: no you're not, now what's wrong
by now Alvaros rubbing my back while i tell him everything and he makes me feel so much better then he lays on his back so i lay down on top of him as he plays with my curls then there's a knock on the door downstairs so i get up and go down to answer and it was Hailey
Y: HAILEY
Hai: Y/N
we ran back upstairs and started dancing and playing with alvaro ofc then i wanted to go to the store with just me and hailey so we sat down and started begging alvaro
Y: PLEASE
Hai: COME ON PLEASE
Varo: what's in it for me
Y: i'll give you cuddles
Varo: you already do that
Y: um i'll give you a hug
Varo: you do that too
i was running out of ideas so we just sat in silence until i got a perfect one
Y: ILL GO ON A VACATION IN THE MOUNTAINS WITH YOU
they both looked at me shocked
Hai: wait can i come
Y: sure anyone who doesn't mind a little cold weather can come
Varo: when would we go
Y: we could go next week
Hai: i'm in
Varo: so am i
Y: so does that mean we can use your car now
Varo: fine

me and hailey went and put on pajamas then i went to alvaros room and he looked bored so i gave him my phone because why not then i gave him a kiss on the cheek and ran out the door blasting music all the way to target once we got there we just chilled and talked and played then i saw someone familiar, he was an older man around my moms age and he kinda looked like me so i decided to go up to him and when he turned around i froze

i don't care if he left us i was just happy to see him again i gave him a huge hug then i cried in his chest and felt my knees go weak so we both sat on the ground hugging and crying until i pulled my self up and spoke
Y: where have you been
Dad: i left to live in new jersey because me and your mom were getting a divorce but she forced me out of the house and told me i wasn't allowed to communicate with you
Y: but why tho if she wanted what was best for me then why would she keep you away from me
Dad: just know she did it because she felt that if we went to court i would get custody because at the time she was a waitress
Y: so she did it because she was too selfish to let someone else have me
Dad: basically
Y: i'm sorry
Dad: hey it's not your fault but i got to see you now and that's all that matters
Y: well did you move on
Dad: yes but i never replaced you but i do have a daughter your age
Y: where is she
Dad: turn around
i turn around and it's ayaina
Y: wait ayaina your his daughter?!?!
Ay: yes i am
Y&Ay: SO THAT MAKES US STEP SISTERS
Y: omg i have a sister now
Ay: omg yay
Y: well sis come over alvaros tomorrow we're planning a trip in the mountains and no dad you can't come
Dad: dang what did i do
Y: nothing you just can't come i love you tho
Dad: i love you too kiddo see you soon

i hug him then go tell hailey everything that happened then we go back to playing and having fun we even took pictures but i decided to post them when i got "home" which is alvaros house we got a few more snacks and blankets then got back to alvaros house i told him everything and he gave me a hug because he was happy for me then we sat and watched tv and made tiktoks then i got bored and went on live while laying my head on alvaros lap and him playing with my hair

i pressed the thing so derek could be in the live and once he popped up i saw the whole group surrounding him

when i say this alvaro mumbles

i look at him and playfully slap his chest and turn back to the live
Y: where's kobe
K: right here
Y: i miss you
K: i miss you too y/n come back
Y: i will once summer is over i promise
K: ok
M: dang what about us
V: fr like damn ok i see how it is

M: sure you do

D: finally i thought you forgot about me
he says fake crying
Y: big baby
after about an hour of just talking to them they leave and hailey is sleep and alvaro is still playing with my hair on live then i fall asleep
