Reidy - Day Off

Y/N's POV:

It's Reidy's day off today and I am really looking forward to spending it with him. Reidy and I have been married for 5 years and I don't get to spend time with him a lot as he is always at the beach lifeguarding. I know that I have a job which is a part-time paramedic but it is only part-time so I can spend more time at home. It was rare for Reidy to be off but I managed to pull a few strings with Hoppo to let Reidy have a day off.

I booked us a reservation at a restaurant tonight as I just want to have dinner with him but because he is normally at the beach till 6 pm I don't get to spend time with him. Reidy knew that he has a day off today as I told him the night I sorted it out with Hoppo.

When I woke up I couldn't feel Reidy beside me so I got out of bed, put on my dressing gown and then walked out of our bedroom. When I walked out of the room I smelt bacon being cooked. I walked into the kitchen to see Reidy standing over the hob frying bacon. I walked over to him and wrapped my hands around him to hug him. When he felt my arms wrap around him he turns around and wraps his arms around me and kisses me. After he turns around I go and sit on the table behind him.

Once we finished breakfast we both got dressed and then we both sat down on the sofa and we both cuddled each other. It was around 10.30 when we decided to play board games. We played a lot of them like monopoly, Cluedo, Game of life and many more. We had lunch and dinner between some of the games but at one point I fell asleep and I felt Reidy pick me up on the bed. When I felt the bed dip next to me I knew that Reidy joined me so I moved closer to him and wrapped my legs around him so that he couldn't move away. He then wrapped his arms around me and then we fell asleep in that position.
