Jake - Feelings

Y/N's POV:

I have known Jake since my childhood. We became a trainee as a lifeguard at the same time and I don't know what I would do without him. He is my world and through my years of knowing him, I have started to develop feelings for him. I love him so much. I didn't want to tell him as it could ruin our friendship as if I did then it would get awkward when we are together on duty together.

Jake's POV:

I have known Y/N since my childhood. We became a trainee as a lifeguard at the same time and I don't know what I would do without her. She is my world and through my years of knowing her, I have started to develop feelings for her. I love her so much. I didn't want to tell her as it could ruin our friendship as if I did then it would get awkward when we are together on duty together.

I don't know how it happened, but I managed to get into a fight while trying to break it up. The fight was by the pavilion and I called for someone to help and Y/N said that she would come and help. However, before she got here, I ended up getting beaten up quite badly as I had cuts on my face and blood pouring out of them and my nose.

When Y/N got here she managed to beat the guy up and hand him over to the police when they arrived. I didn't notice this, but she got beat up but not as bad as me. She led me back to the tower and we cleaned each other's cuts up on our faces as we couldn't see what we were doing. I didn't know what happened, but it just started spilling our and I said "I like you Y/N and I have for a long time. I couldn't keep it in any longer as I couldn't bear to see people hit on you. I didn't want to say anything as it could ruin our friendship, but I just had to say it now."

"I like you to Jake and I also didn't want to tell you as it could ruin our friendship. But now that we both know. Will you be my boyfriend Jake?"

"Yes. I would love to be your boyfriend Y/N." After I said that we both leaned in and kissed each other as nothing else mattered to us. We were both happy that we both managed to confess our feeling to each other.
