A stray cat and a stray dog,

Come together through the fog,

Paw to paw, there was no flaw.

But then they seek family,

So they could believe

Dog and cat,

Friends and foes,

Won't stay low.

And family becomes friends.

'CHAPTER 1

3 YEARS AGO

ALONG THE COAST OF JUNGLE OCEANA

"Sorry! I'm trying to earn my stripes!" Said a very speedy tiger. "Sis! Keep going on the sand trail!!!" Tigerwings called from above her sister.

G- I know who Tigerwings is! It's another one of Lexsi's characters from her good books!

T- Oh great, here comes the concept drafts from her cheesy writing phase...

"Oh, were YOU on the trail while trying to earn YOUR stripes???" Said Tigerwing's sister. "For your information, I earned mine BURNING this trail." Said a dreamy tiger with long eyelashes.

M- (a la Dreamy Tiger) "I'm yet to pay those fines."

T- Tigers have eyelashes?

appeared. Just plain old orange. "I, Tigerflash, daughter of Tigerfall, have not earned my stripes for the, ummmmm, 1,000th time,

T- (a la Tigerflash) "But who's counting?"

therefore, I give up" Said the speedy tiger. "No!" Said Tigerwings. "You trained for this day! You- OH MY GOSH LOOK WHAT IS IN THE WATER!!!!"

C- (a la Tigerwings) "Now that they're all distracted I can make my escape! Muahahahahaha!"

"Is that- a fox?" Asked the tiger next to Tigerflash. "It's a fox, Tigerfire, that's what it looks like." Said Tigerwings. "FOXES AREN'T ALLOWED IN THIS LAND! IT'S THE LAW!!! KILL IT! KILL IT!"

M- Hey, guys, just politely ask it to leave!

Tigerfire shouted, creating fire on her paws. "It might be a fox who is a rogue, she isn't what foxes think." Said Tigerwings. "What? She turned into a cheetah! How is this possible???" Asked Tigerfire in confusion.

C- (a la Fox) "Am I allowed now?"

"Hey, do you remember that HUGE fog storm yesterday? There were gems, an epic eclipse, and in the middle of the fog, there were two animals! A dog and a cat!"

T- Yeah, but- the fox-

Said Tigerfire and Tigerflash. But Tigerwings did not listen, she was friends with the fox now.

ALL- JUST LIKE THAT?

Then a huge gem appeared across the sky! Things couldn't get weirder from here, right?
