CHAPTER 6

HQ

PRESENT

Eclipse found herself fine when she woke up.

T- (suggestively) So do I.

She heard some screaming. "ACID! ACID IN THE HALL!" Shouted Peridot. Eclipse ran out of her room to see what had happened with their melting acid.

G- But acid is already melting!

She saw Peridot using her gem shield to not make it go any further than the science room. "How- what?" Eclipse cried. "You have to be kidding me! I TOLD you the acid wasn't working!" Tigerwings yelled.

ALL- When is the acid ever working?

C- Exactly! That's what I think!

T- Yeah!

"Oh...... you...... did?" asked Peridot sheepishly. "He he, I guess I wasn't listening all that much," Said Eclipse and Peridot. "Well, HELP, knuckleheads!" Said Peridot to Eclipse. Then, after the spill, Foxgirl

M- Again, who's Foxgirl?

G- The main character.

T- Doesn't seem like it.

saw footprints, and they were DINOSAUR footprints.... "Did-did Dinoboy do that on PURPOSE?" Said Peridot and Eclipse. "He must have..." Said Foxgirl. "But WHY?" "He wanted to follow that dirt. He distracted us!"

M- Leave the dirt alone man...

Eclipse said. "Well that explains the footprints following this dirt." Said Foxgirl as she looked outside. "Foxgirl, can you see what that trail leads to?" Eclipse asked. "The arctic." Foxgirl said, worried. "And?" Asked Eclipse in horror. It was a long, terrible pause. Finally, Foxgirl said, "The snow is the coldest, Eclipse!"

C- Okay... So?

"OH NO! IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN!" Eclipse shouted as she curled into a ball. "There, there, it's going to be ok. I mean, despite all the animals in the arctic getting sucked into the moon!"

G- See? She cursed the moon!

M- You actually read Lexsi's stuff?

said Foxgirl with a forced smile, trying her hardest to assure Eclipse. "No, not only will they be on the moon, but we will lose our guardians!"

C- Like celestial guardians?

Eclipse said. "Wait, what is it all about the moon and stuff?" Asked Tigerwings and Peridot.

ALL- AT THE SAME TIME?

"The mega eclipse." Said Eclipse. Can they save Dinoboy in time?

T- Well, I don't know! You tell me. You're the book.

CHAPTER 7

THE MOON

PRESENT

"Ok, Daylight, how is your sister?" Asked Present. Daylight was using her SUPER VISION. A vision where she can see anyone she can think of.

C- Clearly not 20/20.

Like Eclipse, her older sister. Six years ago, when they got sucked into the moon, Future, the dad, couldn't resist the transport and ended up having a heart attack and died. Leaving The mom, Present, Past, Eclipse's older sister, and Daylight, Eclipse's younger sister. "Oh, Amethyst, who is your kitty?"

ALL- WOAH!

C- At least make a new paragraph! Jeez...

T- I wasn't ready for that.

Past asked a tall cat with purple eyes. "Jasper, tell the tale." Said Amethyst. Past looked over to a grey cat with yellow eyes. "Ah, It was a stormy night, the only sound we heard was wind.

M- WSHHHHHHHHHHSHSHSHSHSHSHWWSSSHHH

We were in our hut, living the wildlife, Amethyst was having a kitty this night.

C- Stop saying "kitty", please.

As she gave birth, we used our gem vision, the vision of gemstone cats, like us. We saw a peridot on that kitty's

T- Stop.

head. So we named her Peridot. After, we had a kitty

with a lapis on her head in gem vision, so we named her Lapis Lazuli. Or Lapis, for short." Jasper said. "Hey, Jasper, Amethyst. This sounds kind of crazy, but I'll give you the vision of your daughter..."

M- SEE?

Daylight said as she gave Amethyst and Jasper a sight of Peridot. "Impossible." Said Jasper. "I know, our sis Eclipse is there too." Said Daylight. "Jasper." Amethyst said in worry. "Our daughter

G- No kitty.
