life updates for anyone who cares

rishta #2 somehow moving forward

idk why but apparently this rishta is moving forward and they're planning to meet the whole family at their house but idk how i feel about that. some observations ive made:

- they're aware about the presence about the rishta #1's identity (bc theyre close friends)

- they're also aware that things had progressed quite a lot

- they're aware that my mum and dad still haven't moved past it (mainly bc my mum revealed her face in front of them which is acc quite deep to my mum bc shes a niqabi)

- they're aware that my mum is a niqabi even tho they are quite ~"modren~ in paki terms. (we say modren instead of modern)

- they're aware and understanding that the rishta #1's circumstances are quite impossible for ~normal~ people (fair assessment)

- they're also offering a granny flat (we'll see how it goes in practice bc rishta #1 did offer this until he said it would ~be easier~ to just not have one lol)

idk it sounds a bit too good to be true. but i dont wanna judge too fast, that f's things up and thats not fair me to judge them without knowing them since theyre very decent people alhamdulilah

i just dont want any "gotcha's" jumping up like for eg i feel like they might  be too modern for us plus theyre business people (which is good) but you know how business people, overly friendly, almost no boundaries with the opposite gender.

also i think their business-status is smth my dad thinks might be a source of arrogance for them, especially  bc they said their preference was a "punjabi"... highkey never a good thing. if youre living in australia and have citizenship.. why does it matter if someone is punjabi or from karachi? especially bc punjabi culture is super toxic.

i agree with my dad bc when pakis become businesspeople they also become very arrogant and hard to talk to. so im gonna have to be a bad b*tch to let em know that just bc we're living just below average doesnt mean that we dont have standards or arent good people. i didnt really like the sister she was very judgy. anyway heres to hoping she was just sleep-deprived and not acc a witch, it'll be easier to like her (shes a new mom)

.... but i *admittedly* checked the guy's social media (insta, the satan's tool) and alhamdulilah i couldnt find any onlyfans or ~premium instas~ or any girls which is alhamdulilah and i do believe that he might be serious but agian no premature judgments or fairytales before meeting. actions actions actions
