Jay Halstead had been married to Abby McSweeney for about three months, it was going well. Until. Jay saw a side of Abby, he'd never seen before, and it scared him.

It was early morning. Jay got up, and he knew Abby wasn't in a good mood.

Jay got his jeans on, and buttoned up his shirt, then walked downstairs.

"Morning. Baby!" Jay smiled.

Abby looked at Jay, and made a comment.

"You look a mess..." Abby whispered.

Jay felt his heart crack, as he replayed the words Abby had said.

"I-I can go back up, and change...?" Jay suggested.

Abby shook her head, and banged the coffee cup down.

"Your gonna be late if you change, just drink your coffee!" Abby instructed.

Jay nodded, and stopped the tears rolling down his face.

"What are you gonna do tonight...?" Jay asked.

"Well. Maybe hang out with a few girlfriends, hopefully get a man?" Abby explained.

Jay couldn't help but let the tears pool in his eyes, as he finished his coffee.

"I'm gonna go..." Jay whispered.

Abby nodded, and stayed quiet.

"I love you!" Jay called back.

Jay opened the door, and walked out of the apartment.

As Jay walked downstairs. He got into his truck, and drove to the district.

The unit were already in the bullpen, and they were waiting for Jay's arrival.

Erin noticed Jay first, and noticed his shaking hands.

"Hey! You okay?" Erin asked.

Jay got startled, and noticed it was Erin.

"Yeah. I-I'm good..." Jay lied.

Erin could tell her partner wasn't how he said he was. It was evident on his face, so she decided to get Jay away from the district, so she could get him to open up to her.

"Let's go for a coffee run!" Erin suggested.

Jay nodded, and got up from his desk.

"Let's go..." Jay whispered.

Erin and Jay walked out of the bullpen, and out of the district.

"So, what's going on?" Erin wondered.

Jay looked at Erin, and smiled.

"Nothing? Why?" Jay asked.

"I don't know? You've been kinda off lately...?" Erin replied.

Jay sighed, and looked out the window.

"Yeah. Just a lot of drama..." Jay sighed.

Erin left the subject for now, but she knew something was going on in her partner's head.

"We're here..." Jay mumbled.

Erin parked outside Starbucks, and got out of the car.

"Morning. Detectives!" Sarah smiled.

Erin and Jay smiled, and ordered their coffee's.

"So, I've met someone..." Erin started.

Jay smirked, and sipped his coffee.

"Who...?" Jay smirked.

Erin smirked, and walked out of the store.

"Jamie..." Erin stated.
