The group headed to the zoo, which also featured a small theme park for toddlers on the opposite side
Erin, Jay, Kim, Adam, Kevin, Vanessa, Hank, and Antonio all entered the zoo, while the children accompanied Makayla.
"DON'T GO TOO FAR!" Jay and Adam shouted.
The girls all laughed and exchanged glances.
"What?" asked Adam and Jay.
Erin and Kim approached, smiling.
"You're such a dad..." Erin whispered.
Jay smirked and pecked Erin on the head.
The group ventured into the zoo, observing the various animals.
Ashlyn spotted her favorite animal and dashed towards it.
"TIGGER BEAR! TIGGER BEAR!" Ashlyn squealed with delight.
Jay caught Ashlyn's hand and smiled.
"Don't run off without holding my hand," Jay instructed gently.
Ashlyn tugged Jay towards the bear statues, and his laughter rang out.
"Let's go see the bear statues," Jay said, chuckling along with her.
Erin smiled at Cassie.
"Look, honey! It's your favorite animal, gorillas!" Erin exclaimed with a smile.
Cassie glanced up at Erin.
"That was when I was six," Cassie remarked.
Erin smirked and wrapped an arm around Cassie.
"Ha! Look at Dad!" Erin chuckled.
Cassie looked up and let out a giggle.
"What on earth is he doing...?" Cassie murmured.
Together, Erin and Cassie walked over, laughing.
"Erin, take a photo!" Jay called out.
Erin laughed, pulling out her phone.
"You're an idiot!" she said, still laughing.
After taking the photo, Erin slipped the phone back into her pocket.
"What do you want to do next?" Erin inquired.
Ashlyn scanned the area and pointed towards the theme park.
"Of course, you would..." Jay muttered.
The group made their way towards the theme park.
Adam and Jay rode the spinning cups, emerging dizzy.
"Ha! Jay's turned fifty shades of green, and Adam's fifty shades pale!" Erin roared with laughter.
Kim and the girls all shared a laugh, waiting for the ride to end.
As the ride came to a halt, the announcement echoed.
Thank you for riding on the spinning teacups! Hope you have a spinning day!
Ashlyn and Makayla stepped off the ride, giggling as they hurried over to their mothers.
Minutes later, Adam and Jay clung to each other, staggering toward their wives.
Erin caught Jay and chuckled.
"You good, babe?" she asked.
Jay, spotting a trashcan, vomited into it.
"I'm gonna barf..." Adam choked out.
Kim and Erin approached their husbands and soothed their backs.
"Here, take some water. Swish it around and spit it out," Erin instructed.
Jay took a sip of water, swished it around, then spat it out.
"Feeling better?" Erin inquired.
Jay nodded, wiping his mouth.
"Daddy, I want to go on the spinner again!" Ashlyn chattered excitedly.
Jay closed his eyes, resting his head on Erin's shoulder.
"I don't think Daddy's up for the spinning teacups at the moment, sweetie," Erin chuckled gently.
Ashlyn pouted and toddled over to Makayla.
As the day ended, the group began to leave the zoo.
Erin climbed into the passenger seat and closed the door.
"I don't think that hotdog agreed with Jay's stomach," Erin sighed.
Laughter filled the air as everyone exchanged goodbyes.
Makayla embraced Cassie and Ashlyn in a warm hug.
Then, Cassie climbed into the truck and closed the door behind her.
Erin bid farewell to her best friends and took her place behind the wheel.
"It was a lovely day out!" Erin said with a smile.
Jay rested against the cool window, Cassie was engrossed in her phone, and Ashlyn slept soundly.
"Time to head home," Erin murmured softly.
Erin left the car lot and headed home.
