Hank stood outside Erin and Jay's room while Cassie and Ashlyn slept soundly on Jay's bed, and Erin rested on the camp bed.

Suddenly, Jay began to fit and choke in his sleep.

Erin awoke with a start and rose to her feet.

"Off the bed, kids! Well done," Erin whispered.

She carefully turned Jay onto his side and then looked up.

"Can you take the kids out?" She asked Hank.

Hank nodded and led the children out.

"It's alright, baby, it's alright," Erin said soothingly.

Will hurried in and closed the door behind him.

"Whoa! Okay," Will exhaled.

Will administered some anti-seizure medication to Jay, which subdued the convulsions.

"He had a minor seizure. It's typical at this stage," Will explained, nodding.

Erin nodded in agreement and gently rubbed Jay's back.

"It's okay. I'm here, love," Erin whispered.

Jay remained asleep as Erin left the room.

The team was having breakfast and entertaining the children.

Hank glanced up and set his coffee aside.

"He had a seizure. Will administered some medication to control it," Erin detailed.

The team acknowledged with nods and somber looks.

Cassie approached with a question.

"How's dad?" She inquired.

Erin exhaled deeply before responding.

"He's not doing well, sweetie-bear," Erin murmured.

Cassie gave a resigned nod and exhaled.

"And Ashlyn?" Erin asked.

Cassie let out a sigh before answering.

"She's starting to grasp parts of dad's condition, like why he can't play trucks with her for now, but she's managing," Cassie elaborated.

Erin nodded, and Will stepped out.

"Erin, Jay's asking for you..." Will whispered.

Erin nodded again and entered the bedroom.

"Hi, baby..." Erin cooed.

She sat on the bed and softly stroked Jay's hair.

"I want to sleep, but I can't stay asleep for more than a few hours," Jay mumbled.

Erin nodded and slipped under the covers.

"Come here. I'll stroke your hair until you fall asleep," Erin promised.

Jay closed his eyes and nestled into Erin's chest.

"He loves you more than he's letting on," Will said with a smirk.

Erin looked up and returned the smirk.

"I gathered," Erin whispered softly.

Will settled into the chair, exhaling sharply.

"O-Ouch..." Jay's whimper broke the silence.

Erin and Will's attention snapped to him, and Erin's expression softened.
