Disclaimer: I'm aware the image features Lucas and Brooke. Unfortunately, I couldn't locate one with Erin and Jay cuddling on the couch. Please imagine Lucas as Jay.

In the stillness of the night, Erin began to writhe in bed, plagued by an intense migraine.

Erin awoke, tears streaming down her face.

"Babe?" Jay's voice was a soft whisper.

Erin nestled her head into Jay's neck, her body shaking.

"What's wrong?" Jay's tone was soothing.

Tears filled Erin's eyes as she sat up.

"M-Migraine..." She managed to say.

Jay's expression softened, and he drew Erin into his embrace.

"Don't worry. I'm here for you," he reassured her.

The door creaked open. Ashlyn wandered in, clutching her baby blanket and toy truck.

"Mama? Daddy?" Ashlyn's small voice filled the room.

Jay looked up, his smile gentle.

"Hey there, little one. Mama's not feeling well. She has a headache," he explained quietly.

Ashlyn nodded and exited the room.

"I feel like I'm going to be sick..." Erin murmured.

Jay nodded and carefully lifted Erin into his arms.

"You're alright. I've got you," Jay comforted.

Erin settled in Jay's lap and vomited into the bowl.

"Let it all out, babe. Don't hold back," Jay coaxed.

Erin expelled all the vomit and cried quietly.

"Wanna go back to bed?" Jay asked.

Erin sniffled and nodded.

"I'll pick you up." Jay whispered.

Erin leant her head on Jay's shoulder and clutched his top.

"Babe? Your lifting my shirt up..."  Jay smirked.

Erin sighed and moaned in pain.

"It's alright." Jay whispered.

Erin and Jay returned to bed, and Erin nestled into Jay's chest.

"Are you ovulating, babe?" Jay whispered.

Erin groaned and nestled into Jay's embrace.

"It's alright. You've taken care of me for months. Now it's my turn," Jay said with a smile.

Erin gazed up at Jay and whispered.

"You had cancer..." she murmured.

Jay nodded, kissing the top of Erin's head.

"I did. And migraines too. Now you're the one with a migraine, and I'm here to take care of you," he said, his smile gentle.

Erin smiled sleepily and nestled into Jay's chest.

Later, Erin was comfortably seated on the couch while the kids watched TV.

Erin dozed off in Jay's arms, and he gently draped the duvet over them.

"Mom and I are going to take a nap for a while," Jay declared.

Cassie and Ashlyn nodded, their attention still fixed on the TV.

As Erin and Jay napped, Jay cuddled closer into Erin's embrace.

Erin, half-asleep, massaged Jay's neck and planted a kiss on his head.

"It's okay," Erin murmured soothingly.

Jay wiped his tears and fell back into his slumber.
