The unit were all at the bullpen, and Erin and Jay walked into the bullpen.
"Finally! What took you so long...?" Adam asked.
Erin and Jay smirked, and went to the evidence board.
"Have you got the photo, babe?" Erin asked.
Jay nodded, and handed the photo over.
"We got a case?" Kim asked.
Jay stuck the sonogram onto the board, and saw the team's faces.
"Your having another baby?" Adam asked.
Erin and Jay nodded, and smiled.
"OH. MY. GOD." Kim squealed.
Erin and Jay smiled, and got hugs from everyone.
"Is it a boy? Girl? Twins?" Hailey asked.
Erin and Jay shrugged, they didn't wanna know yet.
"We've kept it a surprise, until the actual birth..." Jay spoke up.
The team nodded, and congratulated Erin and Jay.
Hank walked out of the his office, and joined the congratulating moment.
After a few minutes. Jay got a notification, and it was from Angela.
Jay read the message, and got up.
"I gotta go..." Jay announced.
Erin looked at her husband with confused eyes.
"Now...? We got a case..." Erin replied.
Jay apologised, and grabbed his jacket.
"Yeah. Cover me...?" Jay asked.
Erin was the only one in the bullpen, and Jay wouldn't tell her where he was going.
"Fine! Make it back by 2pm. We're picking up Cassie remember?" Erin reminded.
Jay nodded, and grabbed his coat.
"I will!" Jay promised.
Erin nodded, and said her goodbye.
Jay soon left, and Erin sat alone.
10 Minutes later. Jay arrived at Angela's house.
Jay walked into the house, and noticed the house looking a mess.
"ANGELA!" Jay shouted.
Jay walked through the house, and got clocked out.
"Ugh..." Jay grunted.
Jay crashed into the wall, and fell to the floor.
At the bullpen. The unit were back, and noticed no Jay.
"Where's Halstead...?" Antonio asked.
Erin shrugged, and sighed.
"He went to see someone..." Erin answered.
"For six hours...?" Kim asked.
Erin noticed the time, and noticed it was 6pm.
"Yeah. He's never out for that long..." Erin shook her head.
Erin dialled Jay's number, and heard his voicemail.
This is Halstead. Leave a message.
Erin hung up, and sighed.
"Voicemail..." Erin whispered.
Hank walked out of his office, and heard the whole conversation.
"Patrol got called to a scene about a burglary..." Hank started.
