Jay had returned back to Med, now connected to blood transfusions with needles inserted into his arms.

"His blood cell count is dropping. The transfusions should boost his levels, helping reduce his dizziness and weakness," Will clarified.

Erin nodded, gripping Jay's hand tightly.

"Erin, his condition will deteriorate. Be ready for sleepless nights..." Will cautioned.

With a gentle smile, Erin nodded again.

"He's my husband. Whether it's aiding him with bathing or dressing, I'm here for everything..." she declared.

Will returned the smile and left the room.

"Mmm..." Jay murmured.

Erin looked up, smiling.

"Hi, my sleepy baby..." Erin cooed.

Jay surveyed his surroundings and realized he wasn't at home.

"Why am I not at home?" Jay inquired.

Erin leaned in and whispered.

"You collapsed in bed, remember?" Erin prompted.

Jay nodded and let out a sigh.

"Come on up. I want to sleep again..." Jay murmured.

Erin climbed onto the bed and encircled Jay's waist with her arms.

"I want to go to the beach..." Jay whispered.

Erin planted a kiss on Jay's neck and murmured.

"First, let's get your blood cell count up..." Erin whispered.

Jay closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep.

"You drifted off fast..." Erin whispered.

She kissed Jay's forehead and then closed her eyes.

Later, Jay was awake when the team walked in.

"I'm going home," Jay said with a smile.

Hank looked at Jay and responded.

"Home? You've only been here what, two days?" Hank inquired.

Adam chimed in.

"Yeah! We don't have all the stuff you need yet..." Adam added.

Jay nodded and reassured them.

"Don't worry! They'll provide everything we need," Jay said confidently.

Hank nodded, and at that moment, the nurse entered.

"Hello, Mr. Halstead," Lucy greeted with a smile.

Jay returned the smile and sat up.

"So, you're feeling alright? Yesterday, you had low blood cell counts and difficulty gripping things. Can you grip now?" Lucy inquired.

Jay nodded, his smile affirming his progress.

"Alright, let's see if you can grip this ball," Lucy suggested.

Jay attempted to grip the ball, but his hand failed him.

As the ball hit the floor, Jay let out a sigh.

"Hey, that's okay! We can get some tools to help improve your grip," Lucy reassured, nodding.

Lucy jotted down some notes and continued.

"You look good. We checked your temperature this morning and it was just right. If your temperature spikes, you'll need to come back, and we'll keep you here for close observation," Lucy explained.
