It was Ashlyn's school play, and the entire team was seated in their designated spots when Jay began to feel uneasy.

Jay glanced at Erin and murmured, "I need to go to the restroom..."

Erin gave a nod and a reassuring smile.

"Hurry back. Ashlyn will be on stage shortly," She said gently.

Acknowledging with a nod, Jay made his way to the restroom.

Upon entering, Jay's vision became spotty.

He blinked rapidly and shook his head, attempting to clear his sight.

Jay approached the vacant stool, his hands trembling.

"What...?" He whispered.

Suddenly, Jay's legs began to shake, and he collapsed, seizing on the floor.

Jay writhed and convulsed on the floor.

In the hall, Erin's concern was growing.

"Where's Halstead? He should be here by now..." Hank murmured.

Erin gave a noncommittal gesture and stood.

"I'll go look for him," Erin proposed.

The team gave their assent, and Erin headed toward the restroom.

She knocked on the men's restroom door and called out.

"Jay?" she called.

Pushing the door open, Erin saw her husband on the floor.

"Jay?" she inquired.

Kneeling, Erin gently rubbed Jay's shoulder.

"Hey, it's okay," she comforted.

Jay's eyes fluttered open, and he exhaled deeply.

"What happened?" he whispered.

Erin could only offer a sympathetic sigh in response.

"I feel dizzy..." Jay mumbled.

Erin helped Jay to his feet, and he stumbled.

"Whoa! Let's get Will to check you out..." Erin suggested.

Supported by Erin's shoulder, Jay left the restroom.

"Hey, everyone! Jay just had a seizure in the restroom. He's quite disoriented. I'm going to have Will examine him..." Erin declared.

The team responded with nods, and Erin left, supporting Jay in her embrace.

Soon, Erin and Jay were in a treatment room, with Jay fast asleep, his arms encircling Erin's waist.

The door opened, and Will entered.

Noticing the pair, Will cleared his throat.

"Oh, hey!" Erin greeted with a smile.

Erin softly roused Jay and they both sat up.

"Hi, Will..." Jay greeted with a yawn.

Will returned the smile and approached with some papers.

"I have some unfortunate news..." Will began.

Jay leaned back against Erin's chest to listen.

"Here are your brain scans. This side shows a healthy brain, and this side shows a mass..." Will detailed.
