Chapter 27

Erin and Jay were at the district, and Jay didn't feel very good.

"Babe? Have you got any tums? My stomach's all messed up..." Jay asked.

Erin nodded, and handed Jay two tums, and placed the bottle back.

"Hasn't that been hurting since last night...?" Erin asked.

Jay nodded, and rubbed his stomach discreetly.

"Yo! You good?" Adam asked.

Jay looked over, and nodded.

"Yeah! Stomach's not right..." Jay replied.

Adam nodded, and focused back on his paperwork.

Halfway through the day. Erin started getting chills.

"Is it cold in here? I'm cold..." Erin shivered.

Jay looked up, and noticed Erin's small shivers.

"Here. Borrow this blanket..." Jay offered.

Erin shivered, and held the blanket closely.

"Are you sick too?" Adam asked.

Erin sighed, and nodded.

"Both of you! Breakroom! Sleep!" Hank ordered.

Erin and Jay got up, and Jay felt weak in the knees.

"Woah! I got you!" Antonio reassured.

Jay closed his eyes, and reopened them.

"S-Sorry? Kind of loss my footing..." Jay sighed.

Antonio shook his head, and sat Jay on the couch.

"No worries! It happens!" Antonio smiled.

Kim walked Erin into the breakroom, and sat her down.

"We'll leave you two. Get some rest!" Hank instructed.

Erin and Jay nodded, and smiled softly.

After the door closed. Erin cuddled into Jay's arms.

Jay kissed Erin's head, and closed his eyes.

"I'm sure this is just a cold from hell..." Jay reassured.

Erin let out a soft sniffle, and coughed.

"Ugh! My chest!" Erin whimpered.

Jay rubbed Erin's chest, and soothed.

"It's okay. Baby. It's normal..." Jay soothed.

Erin and Jay closed their eyes, and fell asleep.

"You know. Maybe it's a good idea to call Jay's brother..." Adam started.

"Really? You won't even say. Will?" Antonio asked.

Adam smirked, and looked down.

"Yeah! Adam's right. Maybe we should..." Kim nodded.

Hank pulled out his cell phone, and dialled Will.

After a few minutes. Jay woke up in agony.

"O-Ouch..." Jay groaned.

Erin woke up, and sat up.

"Hey. What's up?" Erin asked.

Jay put his head down, and groaned.

"I-I ache everywhere..." Jay cried.

Erin pouted, and gently massaged Jay's back.

"Does this help?" Erin wondered.

Jay exhaled, and nodded.
