Erin was now 38 Weeks Pregnant, and she was looking like she was about to pop.
"Ugh! Where's that sexy ass husband of mine?" Erin groaned.
Cassie choked on her drink, and looked at Erin.
"MOM!" Cassie shouted.
Erin laughed, and apologised.
"Sorry, baby." Erin giggled.
Erin felt a twinge in her stomach, and it was getting worse.
"Ah-Ahh..." Erin groaned.
Cassie got alerted, and stood up.
"Mom? You good?" Cassie asked.
Erin nodded, but then screamed.
"A-AHHH!" Erin screamed.
Cassie got nervous, and went to get Platt.
"Trudy! TRUDY!" Cassie called.
Trudy looked up, and ran towards the stairs.
"What's up?" Trudy asked.
"It's mom! She's having the baby!" Cassie exclaimed.
Trudy nodded, and ran into the bullpen.
"ERIN?!" Trudy called.
Erin called back, and breathed heavily.
"Cassie! Go get me some pillows, and a blanket!" Trudy ordered.
Cassie nodded, and ran into the breakroom.
"Where the fuck is Jay?!" Erin cursed.
Trudy held Erin's hand, and sighed.
"I'm gonna get Adam, and get him to haul Jay's ass in." Trudy nodded.
Erin nodded shakily, and groaned.
"H-He's supposed to be my birthing partner! I-I can't do this without him!" Erin cried.
Trudy gripped Erin's hand, and reassured her.
"I'm here. I'm right here..." Trudy soothed.
Cassie ran her little legs back into the bullpen, and dropped the blankets and pillows.
"Good! Now. Set a pillow under mom's head..." Trudy instructed.
Cassie nodded, and placed the pillow under Erin's head.
"Lie back for me. Sweetie." Trudy smiled.
Erin lied against the pillow, and Trudy noticed the baby crowing.
"Baby's crowing, sweetheart..." Trudy replied.
Erin groaned, and Jay ran upstairs.
"Erin? Baby?" Jay called.
Trudy sighed, and looked at Jay.
"Finally! Help your wife! She's about to give birth!" Trudy responded.
Jay nodded, and placed Erin's head on his knee.
"Where the fuck were you?!" Erin groaned.
"I-I was on a case. I'm here now, baby..." Jay soothed.
Trudy gently pushed on Erin's tummy, and the baby popped out.
"Here he is!" Trudy smiled softly.
Erin laughed, and sat up.
"I-Is he okay?" Erin asked.
Trudy nodded, and wrapped the baby in a blanket.
"He's adorable, and he has dad's freckles..." Trudy reassured.
Erin lost colour in her face, and fell unconscious.
"D-Did you hear that, babe?" Jay asked.
"Ba-." Jay stopped.
Trudy looked over, and pulled her phone out.
"This is Sergeant Trudy Platt. Badge Number: 31116. I got an officer down, after giving birth, she has lost about four pints of blood. Roll me an ambo to the 21st District. We're on the second floor. bullpen." Trudy radioed.
Jay was trying to keep Erin from going unconscious again, but it wasn't working.
"Stay with us, baby, stay with us..." Jay instructed.
After a few hours. Erin was settled into a hospital bed, and was fast asleep.
Jay walked in, holding their baby boy, who was fast asleep in his arms.
"Here's mama..." Jay whispered.
Erin opened her eyes, and noticed her husband.
"Is that our baby?" Erin mumbled.
Jay smiled, and nodded.
"Yep! Here he is..." Jay smiled.
Erin sat up, and took her baby.
"He's so cute..." Erin awed.
Jay smiled, and agreed.
"Platt's right. He does have my freckles..." Jay pointed out.
The unit all came in, and cheered in congratulations.
Kim walked over, and looked at the baby, who was in her best friend's arms.
"Aww! I'm gonna melt!" Kim sniffled.
"What are you gonna name him?" Antonio wondered.
Erin looked at Jay, and nodded.
"Meet. Charlie-Gregory-Halstead." Jay named.
The unit all smiled, and started making cute faces at their nephew.
Charlie was soon placed in his crib, and Erin and Jay were fast asleep.
