It was Cassie's 13th Birthday, and the unit were getting everything ready.

Jay and Erin were placing nibbles out, and poured the cola in the cups.

"Mom?! I can't find my heels!" Cassie called.

Erin laughed, and shouted back.

"Have you checked your feet?" Erin asked.

Cassie looked at her feet, and noticed her shoes.

"Panic over!" Cassie nodded.

Erin and Jay laughed, and drank some cola.

"Hey! That's for the kids!" Erin exclaimed.

Jay coughed, and finished the drink.

"So? They'll have some!" Jay exclaimed.

Erin grabbed Jay's hand, and whispered.

"Look. Maddie's coming, don't get drunk..." Erin whispered.

Jay nodded, and made a sandwich for himself.

Later on. Maddie arrived, and she was Erin and Jay's biological daughter.

"Hi!" Jay smiled.

Maddie sat down slowly, and put her bag down.

"Grandpa!" Maddie smiled.

Hank smiled, and kissed Maddie's head.

"Hey, Chicken!" Hank smiled.

Maddie let out a small giggle, and ate some sandwiches.

After 20 Minutes. The party started going downhill.

"So, how's California?" Jay wondered.

Maddie put her snack down, but her foster mom spoke up.

"It's fine..." Caroline smiled.

Jay scoffed, and looked down.

"I was actually talking to my kid..." Jay smiled.

Erin tried calming Jay down, but it didn't work.

"She's not your kid, anymore..." Caroline whispered.

Jay got up, and snapped.

"She's not yours either!" Jay snapped.

Caroline took a breath, and looked down.

"Let's go, Mad-." Caroline whispered.

Maddie stood up, and Jay shook his head.

"No! Maddie's staying here!" Jay exclaimed.

Caroline walked up to Jay, and whispered.

"Your scaring your kid... I suggest you calm yourself down, before I do something I regret..." Caroline threatened.

Jay clapped his hands, and made a show of himself.

"Threatening a cop? That's smart!" Jay smirked.

The unit all got up, and Adam took the kids away.

"Your welcome to Maddie... She's not even your kid..." Jay mumbled.

Jay walked into the bathroom, and slammed the door.

There was a moment of silence. Before Erin spoke up.

"I'm so sorry. Jay's having a bad moment, he'll be fine in a bit..." Erin nodded.

Caroline huffed, and sat down.

In the bathroom. Jay had snorted some coke, and washed his face with some cold water.

"God..." Jay breathed out.

Jay cleaned his mouth, and walked out of the bathroom.

"Let's get this party started!" Jay spoke up.

Jay handed everyone nerf guns, and sat down.

"What are you playing at. Man?" Kevin asked.

Jay looked at Kevin, and replied.

"It's a birthday party!" Jay exclaimed.

Erin sighed, and looked at Hank.

"Kid? Your making a show of yourself..." Hank whispered.

Jay looked up, and laughed.

"Am I? Your an old man, who doesn't like f-." Jay got cut off.

Jay fell over the table, and landed on the floor.

"That was so cool!" Jay giggled.

Jay rolled around, laughing.

"Mads! Let's go!" Caroline called.

Maddie ran over, and took Caroline's hand.

"Wait! Your leaving, because I had a little dance?!" Jay asked.

Caroline ignored Jay's words, and looked at Jay.

"Do you how long it took me, to get Maddie out of the apartment? I should've left her with Anna..." Caroline spat.

Maddie got pushed out of the apartment, and Jay tried grabbing her arm.

"Wait! Please! Baby..." Jay whispered.

After a few hours. Jay was talking to Erin.

"I told you not to get drunk..." Erin whispered.

"I didn't wanna!" Jay defended.

Erin looked closely at Jay, and noticed his nose.

"It all makes perfect sense..." Erin laughed dryly.

Jay was confused, he looked up at Erin.

"W-What?" Jay stuttered.

Erin clapped her hands, and nodded.

"Well done! You done it again!" Erin smiled.

Jay touched his nose, and noticed blood.

"Erin! I-I'm so so-." Jay started.

"Don't... Find somewhere else to sleep tonight... I ain't having your drunk, high, ass in front of my kids! Your pathetic..." Erin growled.

Jay sniffled, and Erin walked away.

"Fuck..." Jay whispered.

It soon reached 8pm. Jay was walking to an unlikely source for help.

Jay knocked on the door, and waited for it to open.

"Jay?" Abby smiled.

Jay sniffled, and nodded.

"Can I come in?" Jay wondered.

Abby nodded, and pulled Jay inside.

"Here..." Abby whispered.

Jay took the baggie, and snorted it.

"I'll get you back to normal soon..." Abby nodded.

Jay blew a breath, and coughed.

After a few minutes. Jay's head found it's way onto Abby's lap.

"What the hell am I doing...?" Jay mumbled.

Abby stroked Jay's hair, and shushed him softly.

"Shush... I got you, baby..." Abby soothed.

Jay sighed softly, and rolled over.

"I'm sorry, sorry to anyone..." Jay whispered.

Abby giggled, and kissed Jay's head.

"Your talking gibberish now..." Abby chuckled.

Jay closed his eyes, and fell asleep.
