The evening began with a severe storm, causing fear among the children, while Erin and Jay were in the midst of an argument.

Jay, holding the laundry basket, was emptying the washing machine.

"Do you really want to move out that badly? Why not go now?" Jay contended.

Erin exhaled deeply and descended the stairs.

"That's not what I meant! I want a new house for all of us, so the kids don't have to share rooms!" Erin countered.

Jay let out a derisive laugh and approached the stairs.

"Are these your mother's words?" Jay inquired.

Erin glanced downward and shook her head.

"Why are you involving Bunny in this?" Erin questioned.

Jay extracted a shirt from the basket and tossed it back in.

"Fine, you handle the laundry!" Jay said with a smirk.

Erin observed as Jay donned his coat and scarf.

"Where are you going? There's a storm?" Erin protested.

Jay flung the door open and retorted sarcastically.

"Oh, really? I hadn't noticed!" Jay said.

With the door slamming shut, Erin let out a sigh.

"Where's daddy going?" Ashlyn inquired.

Erin approached and knelt down.

"He just needed some air. Let's watch a movie..." Erin suggested with a smile.

Together. Erin and the children settled on the couch and started a movie.

After the movie ended, the children were tucked into bed, and Erin was on the phone with Jay.

"Hello?" Jay answered.

Erin felt a wave of relief knowing her husband was safe.

"Jay, where are you?" Erin inquired.

Gazing at the road. Jay replied.

"I'm just driving around Chicago..." Jay said.

Erin let out a sigh and responded softly.

"Please come home. I miss you..." Erin murmured.

The rain obscured the windows, challenging Jay's visibility.

"I'm not sure I can make it. Honey, it's hard to see..." Jay admitted.

Erin's concern grew as she spoke.

"Tell me where you are; I'll come to you!" Erin offered.

After a pause, Jay recognized his location.

"I'm at the Chicago Bridge?" Jay realized.

Erin nodded, then a scream pierced the air.

"AHH!" Jay yelled.

Filled with concern, Erin called out.

"Jay?" Erin said.

"Jay?" Erin repeated.

The dial tone sounded, and Erin redialed Jay's number.

"Dammit," Erin whispered under her breath.

She grabbed her keys and hurried out of the apartment with the children in tow.

At the bridge, Jay let out a shout upon seeing Owen's friend.

He quickly exited the truck and approached.
