It was the day of Jay's birthday, and the unit had all came up with a surprise - Jay's biological dad!
Antonio had got off the phone with Pat, and he was on his way up.
"Alright! Pat's on his way up! Someone get Halstead!" Antonio called.
Erin nodded, and walked into the breakroom.
"Hey! What's go-." Jay stopped.
Erin placed her hands over Jay's eyes, and smiled.
"Woah! What you doing, babe?" Jay asked.
"Just let me lead you..." Erin whispered.
Erin and Jay walked out of the breakroom, and Jay managed to bump into the trashcan.
"Is this your surprise? Killing me?" Jay Joked.
Erin shushed Jay, and nodded to Pat.
"Hi. Son!" Pat smiled.
Jay forced Erin's hands off his face, and looked at his biological dad.
"T-This is a joke? R-Right...?" Jay stuttered.
The unit were all confused, they thought Jay would be happy.
Pat went to hug Jay, but Jay stepped back.
"Don't touch me..." Jay whispered.
Pat was confused, and he came closer.
"I swear. If you come within 5ft of me. I'll put a bullet in your head..." Jay threatened.
Erin came between Pat and Jay, and pushed Jay back into the breakroom.
"Your done..." Erin whispered.
Jay walked into the breakroom, and smashed a cup.
"Hey! What's going on with you?!" Erin asked.
Jay sat on the couch, and let the tears escape from his eyes.
"Babe...?" Erin spoke softly.
When Erin heard soft sobs. She went to get Hank.
Erin noticed Hank, and walked up to him.
"It's Jay..." Erin mouthed.
Hank nodded, and walked into the breakroom.
"Kiddo...?" Hank whispered.
Jay kept mumbling "Don't let him hurt me." or "I'm sorry."
"Erin...? Go get Mouse..." Hank ordered.
Erin nodded, and walked out of the breakroom.
"Mouse!" Erin called.
Mouse looked up, and walked with Erin.
"Jay...?" Mouse gasped.
Mouse rushed over, and took Jay into his warm arms.
"It's okay. I got you..." Mouse soothed.
Jay let out a choked sob, and hugged Mouse tightly.
"W-What's going on...? I've never seen Jay like this. In a long time..." Erin admitted.
Hank sighed, and looked at Erin.
"Erin? Pat raped Jay, on his fifth birthday, which made him suicidal..." Hank explained.
Erin was shocked, she never knew it was that bad.
"W-Wow..." Erin gasped.
Mouse had managed to settle Jay for a nap in his arms, after a bit of a comforting.
"He's out..." Mouse smiled.
Erin and Hank smiled, and gently handed Mouse a blanket for Jay.
Later on. Pat had been arrested for rape of a minor, and was now sentenced to 2 Years in Gen Pop. The toughest prison in New York.
Erin was awake, and Jay was fast asleep, with Erin's soft fingers grazing his clad back.
