In the bullpen, Erin, now 35 weeks pregnant, was experiencing intense pain, exacerbated by the placental previa.

Erin was walking towards the breakroom when she felt lower pain in her lower stomach.

"A-Ahh..." Erin groaned.

Erin dropped the cup, prompting Kim to rush in.

"What's goi- Erin!" Kim halted mid-sentence.

Kim crouched down to offer comfort.

"Is it the baby?" Kim inquired.

Erin nodded with a wince.

"Alright! Do you have a birth plan?" Kim probed.

Erin nodded again, clutching Kim's hand.

"I need Jay!" Erin cried out.

Kim nodded, her voice low.

"He's not in the bullpen," Kim murmured.

Erin closed her eyes, exhaling deeply.

"Where the hell is he?" Erin demanded.

Kim's nerves began to fray in the presence of the expectant Erin.

"We need to get you to Med, honey," Kim instructed.

Kim assisted Erin to her feet and they made their way downstairs.

"Don't worry, I'll call him from the truck," Kim reassured.

Taking deep breaths, Erin leaned on Kim's shoulder for support.

Upon reaching the bottom of the stairs, Platt noticed them.

"Burgess? Lindsay? What's happening?" Platt inquired.

Kim glanced over and responded.

"Erin's having the baby!" Kim shouted.

Platt nodded and grabbed her radio.

"GET JAY! PLEASE!" Erin yelled, writhing in pain.

"I will, honey!" Platt assured with a nod.

Kim and Erin exited the district.

"5021 George, come in," Platt called into the radio.

Jay was not in his truck; he was nowhere to be found.

"5021 George, I repeat, come in!" Platt urged through the radio.

Platt's nerves were on edge. She reached out to the intelligence unit via radio.

"Voight? Where's Halstead?" Platt asked.

Voight and Dawson were driving around the streets in their truck.

"He should be on his way back to the district?" Hank radioed.

Platt let out a sigh and cast her gaze downward.

"Yeah. He's not. I've tried his radio twice. I've heard nothing. He's radio silent." Trudy explained.

Hank sighed and looked at Antonio.

"Where the hell is he?" Hank snapped.

Platt let out a sigh and tried triangulating Jay's signal.

"Hank! I got his truck a mile from where you guys are." Trudy replied.

Hank replied and radioed his team.

"Has anyone got eyes on Halstead?" Hank radioed.

Kevin looked out of his window and noticed Jay's truck.
