(Just a small chapter of the aftermath of Meghan's death)

The unit were all at the district, after hearing about Meghan's death.

Jay walked into the bullpen, and he didn't look happy.

"How is he?" Antonio looked at Erin.

"He didn't sleep all night..." Erin sighed.

Jay walked out of the breakroom, and noticed Crowley.

"What's she doing here?" Jay asked.

Crowley crossed her arms, and looked at Jay.

"Can I remind you. I am your commander, and I don't appreciate being spoken to like that. Detective Halstead." Crowley explained.

Jay sipped his coffee, and placed his coffee cup down.

"So? Churlish didn't deserve to get kicked from her job." Jay mumbled.

Voight looked at Jay, and shook his head.

"I don't care if it's inappropriate..." Jay muttered.

Crowley looked at Jay, and replied back.

"Her dad wanted her transferred-." Crowley started.

"NO! SHE WAS FINE HERE!" Jay raged.

The unit were all shocked at how much anger Jay had in his body, but he is Voight's son.

"Lower your voice!" Crowley ordered.

Jay scoffed, and continued shouting.

"Churlish was fine here, she had a locker. She had a good team! Who looked out for her! And. On her first shift? She got kicked off. Explain that to me..." Jay crossed his arms.

Crowley stayed silent, but then responded.

"Her dad said that Meghan had suffered from depression all her life..." Crowley admitted.

"Yeah! Probably because her dad made her depressed..." Jay snapped.

Crowley looked at the ground, and sighed.

"That's a deputy commissioner your talking about. Detective." Crowley warned.

"So? I don't give a damn!" Jay snarled.

The unit all stayed silent, and Erin looked at Jay.

"You better keep that man far away from me, or he's getting both barrels..." Jay threatened.

Jay walked into the breakroom, and slammed the door.

Later on. The unit were all at home, and into bed.
