Trigger warning!
The day had come for Erin to have her wisdom tooth extracted, and understandably, she felt anxious.

Jay attempted to comfort his wife, but to no avail.

"You're going to be fine, babe," Jay said with a nod.

Erin sighed and gazed out the window.

"What if everything goes wrong? I don't know if I can do this..." Erin murmured.

Hank stepped forward and tenderly consoled his daughter-in-law.

"Throughout the years I've known you, you haven't been scared of anything—not gunshots, not criminals. I know you're not going to be scared of the dentist. You've got this, Erin," Hank said with a smile.

The unit concurred and offered comfort to Erin.

Erin nodded and turned to Jay.

"There better be a tub of ice cream waiting for me..." Erin cautioned.

Jay nodded and planted a kiss on his wife's forehead.

"Go give them hell..." Jay said with a smirk.

Erin stepped out of the truck and closed the door behind her.

The unit bid their farewells and observed as Erin entered the clinic.

Once inside, Erin followed the nurse to the dental room.

Hank observed Jay's anxious posture and gently squeezed his shoulder.

"She'll be fine, kiddo," Hank reassured him.

Jay let out a sigh and nodded.

"She struggles to wake up from sedatives; it triggers a full-blown panic attack," Jay elaborated.

Hank nodded in understanding and settled back into his seat.

A few hours later, Erin was wheeled out in a wheelchair.

Jay stepped out of the truck, smiling broadly.

"Hi Babe!" he greeted with a smile.

Linda handed Jay a bag of medications, detailing the instructions.

"She's still under the influence of the sedatives and didn't have any panic attacks. Her mouth will be sore for some time, and the gauze should be changed every few hours to prevent infection. Here's the medication that will alleviate any pain Erin might experience," Linda instructed.

Jay nodded, placing the medication bag in his glovebox as Hank assisted Erin into the car.

"Are you feeling alright, baby?" Jay inquired.

Erin nodded, leaning against the cool window.

"Just drive us home," Erin murmured.

Jay accelerated and made his way back to the apartment.

"Mama, can we play with cars or watch a movie when we get home?" Ashlyn queried.

Erin opened her eyes and whispered.

"You can watch a movie with daddy, baby girl. Mama's a bit tired," Erin yawned.

Ashlyn nodded and continued watching her show on Kim's phone.

Hours later. Jay watched a movie with Ashlyn on his lap as Erin slept upstairs.

As Jay rested his eyes, he was abruptly awakened by his daughter's voice

"I want to see Mama! I want to see Mama!" Ashlyn babbled.

Jay nodded and gently bounced Ashlyn on his lap.

"Let's go see mama then. Tigger!" Jay cooed.

Jay got up, and walked Ashlyn up the flight of stairs.

As Jay and Ashlyn walked into the bedroom. Jay placed Ashlyn in her crib.

Jay kissed his daughter's head, and got into bed.
