Erin and Jay had argued, leaving Erin at her apartment while Jay stayed at his stepsister's place.
"Uncle Jay?" Emily's voice called out.
Jay, jolted from sleep, saw his niece standing there.
"What's up?" He inquired.
"Mom's not in her room," Emily stated.
Jay glanced at his watch and realized it was too early for Meghan to be up.
"Did you check the bed—" Jay halted mid-sentence.
"Yes, she's not there!" Emily interjected.
With a smirk, Jay responded, "Alright, go get ready for school, hon." He offered a reassuring smile.
Emily nodded in acknowledgment and departed.
Once Emily was gone, Jay rose and began to dress.
Jay had just dropped Emily off at school before he walked into the bullpen.
"Yo!" greeted Adam with a smile.
Jay returned the smile and headed to his desk.
The team noticed that Erin and Jay didn't share their usual morning kiss.
"Are you two still not talking?" Antonio inquired.
Erin and Jay exchanged glances and shook their heads.
"Nope, only if he's willing!" Erin responded.
"I do want to talk; you just don't want to listen!" Jay retorted.
Erin gave a look that said it all.
"Alright, forget I mentioned anything!" Antonio sighed, giving up.
Jay's phone rang; it was his Aunt Meghan.
"Where the hell are you?" Jay demanded.
"H-Help..." came Meghan's faint whisper.
A wave of anxiety washed over Jay.
"Meghan?" he breathed out.
The line went dead, and Jay's concern deepened.
"Meghan? Hello?" he called into the phone.
With a heavy sigh, Erin shifted into wife mode.
"Jay? Is everything alright?" she inquired.
Jay gave a noncommittal shrug and typed a message.
"Which station has the weakest signal?" he queried.
The team pondered until Kim had a realization.
"The L-Station!" She exclaimed.
Jay acknowledged with a nod and stood.
"Meghan might be in trouble," he said, turning to Kim.
Kim approached with determination.
"Who's Meghan?" Adam interjected.
Kim and Jay exchanged a weary glance.
"Our aunt," Kim explained.
Understanding dawned on the team, and Jay took charge.
"We need to leave now!" He urged.
Kim was swiftly pulled down the stairs, trailing behind Jay.
The team was left confused, and Erin was filled with worry.
