The unit were in the bullpen, and Hank was on the phone to Olivia.
Hank wasn't happy with Olivia's decision, and Olivia was trying to make him understand.
"Hank? Jay needs this, he needs some closure..." Olivia started.
Hank looked out of his window, and looked at Jay.
"I've just got Jay back on track, It'll break him, when he see Yates..." Hank explained.
"Maybe. He needs that..." Olivia sighed.
Hank sighed, and agreed with Olivia's decision.
"Okay! Antonio's going with him. They'll be on the next flight out..." Hank agreed.
Olivia smiled through the phone, and was happy Hank was onboard.
"Great! Thanks. Hank!" Olivia thanked.
Hank and Olivia ended the call, and Hank walked out of the office.
"Halstead!" Hank called.
Jay laughed at Adam's failed drawing of himself, and looked at Hank.
"What's up?" Jay asked.
Hank looked down, and sighed.
"Olivia wants you to go to New York, and see Yates..." Hank responded.
Erin looked at Jay, and waited for his reaction to Hank's answer.
"Okay...." Jay nodded.
Hank nodded, and looked at Antonio.
"Your going with him..." Hank replied.
Antonio nodded, and got up.
"I've booked your flight! Your taxi's out front." Hank reported.
Jay nodded, and kissed Erin on the lips.
"You call me. Whenever you want me to come, and I'll be there." Erin promised.
Jay smiled, and hugged Erin's small body.
"Go get them!" Adam called.
Antonio and Jay walked downstairs, and got into the taxi.
On the way to the airport. Jay was quiet the whole way.
Antonio noticed Jay's hands shaking, and he gently placed his over Jay's shaking ones.
"It's okay. Your gonna be okay..." Antonio whispered.
Jay smiled at Antonio, and nodded.
Soon. Antonio and Jay arrived at O'Hare Airport.
Antonio and Jay got onto the private plane, and was headed straight to New York.
After Awhile. Antonio and Jay walked into Yates's prison, and were interviewing him.
Yates walked in, and the guard cuffed him to the table, and seat.
"Jay? Long time. No see..." Yates smiled.
Jay was looking at Yates, with a stern expression.
"As much as I hate you? Let's make this visit short..." Jay smiled.
Yates nodded, and looked at Antonio.
"Your wife? Laura? Has she had her baby yet?" Yates asked.
Antonio was gonna retaliate, but Jay got in first.
"That's none of your damn business..." Jay whispered.
Yates smirked, and looked at the ground.
"So? How you coping? Did you go off the rails, a little bit?" Yates questioned.
Jay crossed his arms, and sat forward.
"This isn't about me. It's about you, and how you killed Melanie..." Jay explained.
Yates smiled, and said something, which riled Jay up.
"Yes? She was very good at keeping her mouth shut..." Yates nodded.
Jay got up, and grabbed Yates's collar, and strangled him.
"You killed her!" Jay exclaimed.
The two guards rushed in, and pulled Jay off.
Jay pushed the guards away, and got up.
"You'll have your court date. Yates, and I promise you. I'll have a front row seat, watching your life go down the toilet..." Jay snarled.
Yates wasn't phased or scared, by Jay's antics, he was unemotional.
"Jay! Let's go..." Antonio whispered.
Jay got up, and pushed the seat away.
"Your not worth the energy..." Jay growled.
Jay walked out of the room, with Antonio in suit.
"We needed a little bad cop, but not that bad..." Antonio Joked.
Jay wasn't feeling the jokey mood, he was trying to get through the day.
"He killed my sister, I'm not gonna sit back, and do nothing..." Jay shook his head.
Antonio nodded, and walked out of the prison corridor with Jay.
Later on. Antonio and Jay were at SVU. Facetiming Amanda and Sonny.
"We don't have a lot of time, we're outside the prison..." Amanda explained.
Olivia nodded, and Sonny spoke next.
"Lieu. We're waiting to see Rudnick. It's taking a lot of time to get past these gates..." Sonny responded.
Olivia looked at Sonny, and nodded in confirmation.
"We're thinking if Rudnick isn't in his cell. He's been let out on good behaviour..." Amanda replied.
Jay sighed, and paced the room.
"We don't know if he is capable of good behaviour..."Jay sighed.
Everyone agreed, and Antonio sat down with Jay.
"Got it! See you later!" Olivia smiled.
Amanda and Sonny hung up, and walked into the prison building.
"I need a coffee..." Jay whispered.
Jay walked into the breakroom, and poured the pot of coffee.
"Hey. How's he holding up?" Amanda asked.
Antonio sighed, and looked at Fin.
"He's downplaying everything, trying to make everything go away, but he knows. He still has the memory of Melanie's body, in his head." Antonio explained.
Fin nodded, and walked back to his desk.
As Jay walked back out of the breakroom. Antonio started talking to him.
"So, Sylvie is missing me, and we tried playing golf, but it didn't end well..." Antonio started.
Jay sipped his coffee, and laughed.
"Yeah! Same! Erin managed to finally blow a bubble with her gum!" Jay smiled.
Antonio and Jay laughed, and continued talking about their girls.
